Cool. That is probably a great time. I haven't completed the GT6 events as yet but I will be making that post today. Thanks for letting me know and i will add it to the list.

@chrisspeed281. I am nearly matching your time in the TTS with my own tune. Once I have matched it and I am happy with its consistency, I will post my settings. Out of interest, whose tune do you currently have on your car?

The TTS.. Have we got new tracks to run on?

Yep, Dragon Trail - Seaside course. I managed a 2.07.2xx with the new tune. I will post it later so you guys can test it out and tell me what you think.

I have all 36 cars now, plus three repeat cars in my garage. I wonder if they will let us drive the new Porsche in the Beta game now that they have run out of cars to give us.

On another note, I am now on my last placement for my course, only one piece of work left to write up for uni and my days off are virtually becoming days off. This should mean that I can work on tuning and testing GT Sport cars that look interesting. :)

Even thought it might not be the fastest car for the event,I got an easy gold with this one with 9049 points, that is almost 4000 points over the gold score,so you can easily make it in the race car drifting event with this one

A fast TTS. I used the bracketed toe settings for my fastest lap but it can get a little unstable if you are not hitting the correct braking points. If you want comfort. Go for the unbracketed toe settings although this costs about a second in time. Enjoy. :)

A load of rehashed events. same old for GT6 now. I won't complain though as they are putting effort into GT Sport. All is forgiven. Except for those who aren't part of the beta experience and are stuck with rehashed events... Sorry about that guys and girls, I didn't mean to depress you. :guilty:

As per usual, if anyone finds a tune from this garage that achieves a gold trophy, let me know and I will add it to the list below. Thank you as always. Your continuing support is greatly appreciated.

Tuned with TCS 1 and ABS 1 only. Tested in Free Mode at Suzuka Circuit. Consistently setting 2.04s in my hands which means it can go faster in someone else's. Should be a fun car to win with.

Forgot to say some days ago that I got a win on the Green Hell with this tune, really good handling and goes perfect for the circuit

I have obviously adapted to GT Sport controller settings too much.. I am struggling with X and [] buttons on the PS3 now.. Very strange to drive GT6 with R2 and L2 but it is the only way now apparently.

I still use the sticks for throttle, brake and steering.

L2 and R2 are for upshift and downshift.

makes more sense to me with my history with rc cars.

Was that the Green Hell Super lap event from 2 weeks ago?

Most new games on the PS4 use R2/L2 as accelerate/brake. Im still a AT man though.. that hasn't changed.

I could never drive a car with AT. I need manual for the purpose of more control of the car.

a prime example of this is shown in my replay i posted of the Mclaren GT3 at willow springs.

the uphill horseshoe section i was about to spin out but avoided it with a quick upshift to counter the wheelspin.

not possible with AT.

Was struggling to find a tune who could give me a winner at the green hell 550pp race.
Finally found it.Real pleasure to drive.Used power limiter to rduce the 579pp to 550pp.

I was playing this challenge last night for over an hour and a half using Shauns Lotus Elise 500pp tune. Best I can manage so far is 3rd and I can see them coming out of the last corner onto the really long straight.. So close. I'm not done trying yet though although it's pretty hard:scared:

Hooray beat it finally!
In the underdog Elise!
Had to add some mods though.
Stage 3 turbo and reduced the final gear to 3.200.

Added up to 534pp.

Thanks again Shaun for your wonderfully handling Elise it's awesome  👍

............................ .......................
I'm still faster with the controller DS 4 , the Wheel have not a good support , so PD have still to work for GT Sport. I have already write this in the bug reply , i'm not the only one who have this problem.

I hope everything gets sorted out Chris before the release later this year and about using a wheel for the game.

Glad to be of assistance. The Elise cars in GT6 are really great, superb handling but a little underpowered at times. If you like the underdog elise, you should try the type '72 Elise as that is a really great car too.

It's definitely one of my favourite cars, I find the balance of power verses handling at the 500pp tune to be spot on, I ruined it at 534pp with a turbo, felt completely wrong just needed to do it to beat that particular challenge, won't be using it again in a hurry!

You've got me curious about the '72 Elise, do you have a tune for it ?

Lotus Elise Type 72 '01 (500PP SS) is that the one ?, Shaun has also got a 450PP and a 400PP.

Hi Shaun,

Sorry for the delayed response, but I have used the following tunes for gold in the current seasonals. All great tunes of course, per usual. :) I am glad you and Chris are distracted with GTS so I can be on top of my FL for drift events. ;)

Got the Merc GT3 today as my reward i see why it dominates the GT3 races. Untuned it was a second faster than the McClairen.

I have all the cars now. Started getting duplicates a few days ago. The Mercs are very quick cars. Some of the cars are really good once you put a tune on them. How are you getting on with the new GT game then? Enjoying the differences?

I'm liking it. But other then my GT3 Merc and GT3 McClairen all my cars feel like they are on ice skates.
Need to send a bug report in that my 6 axis is very jumpy and sluggish to respond and when it does it acts more like the Dpad. Nothing or Full.

After reading @Otaliema post above i got this thought i wanted to share with you...

I spend quite some time with GTS(no aids) at the moment. Before i used AC, with a slow, old M3 , no aids/controller... And i was slowly progressing and getting a little better driver... after some weeks i turned AC on to have a look at the update changes.

Now to my point, simracing is a "flow thing" for a part consciously/intuitive for an other part a brain thing, like by brain overrules my feeling for braking-point or car placement before a turn, i guess this is called learning ...

Using GTS a lot - triggered my old bad habbits again and i was rubbish with AC... But in a way i felt @home after years of GT racing...

What is also funny, as a pro-jazz musician, i use a lot of groove/rhythm in my driving... and GTS is a lot groovier than AC...

any thoughts?
