I clicked this switch to editor mode so it was no longer selected and my post seemed to work.

whats MediaWiki?

MediaWiki is a wiki script that is made by the WikiMedia foundation. A wiki is a piece of server software that allows anybody to freely use and edit a set of articles. There are many other wiki scripts, but MediaWiki, in my opinion, is the best one. It is clean and easy to use. Wikipedia runs on MediaWiki.

If you want to see MediaWiki, click on the first link in my signature. I have another wiki here. Jordan also has a wiki on this site. You can find a link to it in his first post.
