I'm guessing GTP8 is on it's way. It's acting wierd now. Can't wait for the finished product!
 
Hey, did anyone notice sigs are back up? Links in sigs are still messed up though.
 
All type in a non-standard font shows up funky. My sig is supposed to be garamond, not "%1$s".
 
The "New Posts" link now works as it's supposed to (thanks, presumably, to the new board software) 👍
 
That's it for tonight...like the launch will be delayed until tomorrow.

Same here. Can't wait to see the new look.
 
I cleared my saved passwords in Firefox and cleaned up my cookies for Firefox. And well it still brings up the log in box, when I am logged in.

Like Jordan has said several times now, you don't need to mention anything unless it stops you from posting or accessing any of the forums. It will be sorted out when Jordan has finished updating.

Don't know if it's just part of the update process etc, but I can't post atm with the Netscape browser. I obviously can, but only with the IE. I can read everything with Netscape, and I can access the reply to the topic mode, but I can't press the "Submit Reply" button.
Just to inform you, maybe it helps, probably not ;)

The incremental changes have their funny side . . . i thought there was a conspiracy for everyone to join the %1$s club and changed their sig accordingly leaving dumbass in the dark . . .
 
If Anyone really needs to make a post and is getting the 'at least 1 Character' error , you can workaround by using the browser back button and resending the data Once.
this was a test , sorry for the double .
 
Jordan, that is two nights in a row you have been up to 3:00 AM and that is crazy. You are showing real dedication and no matter what anyone's opinion is once the final switch is complete they should respect you for the work you have put into this site.

I think unsanctified meant that GTP used to be a MSN community and has evolved into this.

Other people are chatting on MSN Messenger off the board, especially during the downtime.
 
Yeah that's what I was referring too... I know the "site" for GTP was taken down a longggggggg time ago.
 
WOW I never knew this place started as an MSN community, my god it has grown! Congrats and thanks to Jordan, and his staff, for creating and helping maintain this awesome forum... and for those who remember(courtesy of way back machine):

Good luck Jordan, what little I've seen of the GTP8 theme, it looks mighty sexy. :) Just don't feel that you have to compromise other things to get this done. 👍
