I am in the process of making the liveries based on the tires they have throughout the season, and I was doing the correct ext_config

Check the original ext_config.ini provided with the mod, you need to specify the material on which the texture will be applied, if you don''t it will apply the texture on both tread and side of the tyre which is not what you want
