F12 Berlinetta - arrived 29 Feb 2012

Despite the classic race reference, the name really looks like someone at Ferrari accidentally hit random keys on their touch screen phone and forgot to read what they were sending when giving name suggestions for the car.
Sounds like when I'm trying to write a post on my tablet.

Good point. I thought it was weird considering Tour de France is also the name Ferrari's infamous blue.

Now that I'm thinking of it. TDF also sounds like what could be a German abbreviation for a new double clutch gearbox.

German double clutch gearbox.

Car designers should stop watching Faster & Furiouser movies.

Then again, these sorts of things reek of 'suits' rather than designers.

You do know that F12 was out 2 years earlier than C7, right? RIGHT?!
I saw this convo on twitter where one guy said they ripped of the zo6, to which it was pointed the zo6 looked like they ripped off the 458,. The reply to that was that the c5 was out 2 years before the 458 so that cant be true. I get headaches reading peoples comments sometimes. I dont know why i do it to myself
