The CSR will have no wireless functionality on PC or PS3. But we keep the PWGT2 in our portfolio and the RF dongle as well.

What about the CSR shifter? I would like a piece of metal in my hands to shift with ASAP! I am just as anxious for the CSS, but for now, the CSR would be terrific! Thanks Thomas.

We will make a nice package and try to ship it as close together as possible

Does this nice package include CS Handbrake? You've said before that you'll make different adapters to mount CSS if needed. Will there be some kind of adapters to mount both CSH and CSS together to Playseat for example?

I don't know why, but after reading this, I pictured "Mr. T" sweating like crazy, looking left and right, and trying to leak more information to give you an appropriate response~

I have a feeling he is! :sly:

How about the CSW, it will be released after the CSR E?

If I were to say, it would be before. Its hard to tell though. Mr. Latte, could you get us your magic powers of determining stuff that goes on within the Sim world?

So in terms of release windows it goes: CSR, CSR Elite, CSS, CSW? It would be nice if we could know what the features and specs of the CSR and CSW will be at the same time. This way we would not be sitting around waiting to which one suite our needs best.

Before we start selling the new products we will release the full info and the rest of the products which are not even announced yet ;)

Thanks earlier for the snippet of info.
Im sure your excited for a big win on home soil @ Gamescon.
Hard to believe just a month to go for that.

As for the "other products" ohhhhhhh, their you go again teasing us.
Funny as I was thinking a "Mid Priced Cockpit" would be right up your street. 👍

Technical Question
Is their anyway of having a wheel output data regards pedal depression and this data be displayed via an app on a blutooth phone or mobile device acting as a display screen showing the amount of pedal depression with graphical presentation? I know with PC this would be possible but can such be done without PC connection on a future product via Blutooth so compatible with mobile devices and apps android/apple store?

Intrigued as to why you'd want that!

???

Simple, to help as a driving aid and just as a gadget.
You would learn with a particular car and say a particular corner where visually on the game to brake and apply the throttle but using such on a portable device would also let the user see how much with a graphical representation you are using throttle or brake.

If you can set the CSP to vibrate at a set percentage thats a similar "Cheat/Aid" however such an app could also have presets for different cars saved which change the display notifying the user of when locking brakes or wheel spin can be avoided with set percentages for brake/throttle configured within the preset.

Dont mind me, Im just having one of those days... :)

Sooooo, can someone summarize Fanatecs offerings/potential offerings, their compatibility and their rank in terms of production quality? This would be a big help because this is getting a bit confusing and to be honest the Fanatec website is not very user friendly.

As I understand it;

Wheels:
PS3/PC compatibility only

1. 911 GT3 RSV2
2. 911 Carrera

All systems
1. 911 Turbo S
2. 911 GT2

Pedals:(compatible with any wheel, therefore compatible with all systems)
1. CSP
2. Standard

Can someone enter where the new wheel and pedal offerings will fit into these lists and also verify if I have the current products ranked correctly?

I edited it for you! :)

Seems to be a lot of consusion over the CSR/CSR Elite pedals.
For instance will the CSR eventually replace the standard pedals?
Will the CSR Elite pedals eventually replace the CSP?

Or will it be that the CSP will continue to be sold alongside these new ranges.
4 sets of pedals seems a bit complicated so Id at least expect to see the standard pedals be phased out.

CSR Pedals
Load Cell for brake
No vibrate/rumble brake feature
Pointiometer with new track system not using CSP type sensors
Handbrake compatible
Wider Pedal Spacing

CSR Elite Pedals
Load Cell brake feature
Brake vibtrate/rumble feature not yet confirmed/known
Unique feature offering independant, inverted or standard pedal configuration
Handbrake compatible
Wider Pedal Spacing

To point out to some of you again this video shows both the CSR & CSR Elite Pedals including the analogue handbrake.

Edit made to correct now confirmed feature of CSR Elite

The CSR pedals will be released at Gamescom if everything works smoothly. The specs of the electronic components are similar to our current standard pedals.

Oh more cookies, yum yum :)
Okay so that makes sense and of course these lets face it seem greatly improved over the standard pedals even much better than G27 pedals. If anything they look to offer the best performance / spec with a price point that should be easily affordable. As a guess 80 -100 Euro would seem a nice pricepoint. (cough) 💡

Do you want to confirm if the CSR Elite pedals use sensor tech and not the track potentiometer of the standard CSR?

The CSR Elite pedals will have potentiometers for gas and clutch and the same load cell as on the CSP.

The CSPs will remain our high-end pedals with better adjustability, tuneability, , contactless magnetic sensors and ABS vibration mounted on a full aluminum construction.

Okay thanks for that it clears up some of the confusion.
Although I get a feeling one day we may see CSP V2 pedals, dont know why but just get that feeling...
