I spoke too soon!I just got an email saying
Dear Valued Customer,
You have pre-ordered a ClubSport Shifter or ClubSport Shifter SQ with a delivery date of 30th September 2014. After a long wait, the production has finally begun again. Due to the huge number of pre-orders, not all products have been produced in time and delivery will be delayed until the end of October. We are not able to give you the exact delivery date for your order, but the first products are already on their way and will be sent to customers by order date. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this delay.
The good news is that we have used the interim, which was caused by a flood in the factory, to revise the product fundamentally, particularly the electronics, which have been completely revised. Above all, the reliability of the Shifters has been significantly improved. So much that we changed the version number to V 1.5!
The packaging does not reflect this new version number, but we wanted you to know you are definitely receiving the new 1.5 Version of the product you ordered, with all of the improvements mentioned above.
If you do not agree, you can withdraw your order at any time, of course.
We hope you have a lot of fun with your ClubSport Shifter / ClubSport Shifter SQ.

Well, at least you'll get a better product whenever you'll receive your product. Which feels like it could be anything between now and the products end of life. That said... factories being flooded is something unfortunate and unexpeccted, so you can't really blame them for being behind on the production scedule.

Fanatec products on Xbox One
Landshut, Germany – 3.10.2014 – This is the announcement many people have been waiting for and we are happy to announce that Endor AG (the company behind the brand Fanatec) and Microsoft Corp. have closed a license agreement to make racing peripherals for the Xbox One.
Fanatec plans to release a broad line up of racing wheels which will fit all kind of racing styles and different budgets.
Xbox One brings the latest in innovation and power to the development of racing peripherals giving fans of Fanatec products the opportunity to play the newest Xbox One titles with full support and integration.
Available soon, fans will be able to enable Xbox One compatibility on their current Fanatec wheels by simply attaching them to a Fanatec wheel base, making their whole system compatible to Xbox One. Additional details and features will be announced soon.
Additional Fanatec peripherals like pedals, shifters or handbrakes that were purchased with an Xbox 360 will also be compatible with Xbox One. The modular configuration system in the Fanatec webshop allows you to purchase only the components you need.

Ok, so here's the deal.
I'm about to build my first rig consisting of The following:
CSWv2
F1 Rim
CSL Seat
CS SQ Shifter
CS Handbrake
CS Peadls v2
However, I can't place my order without an invite, now usually I wouldn't even dream of embarrassing my self and asking, let alone joining up and turning from a lurker to a begger! But fanatec leave me no choice. So, I'm willing to dress my hand up as Jennifer Lopez (or any other person of your choice) and pleasure you until you press send
If anyone wants to add a new friend on xbox and PS and/or you have a spare invite.. You would honestly be making my year. I've been saving for 18 months and have the money to buy my rig now, but it's invite only and I'm hoping that a GGG is lurking around here somewhere and is willing help a wanna be sim racer out
Here's hoping I don't get banned for begging and/or for whoring out my slut hand to anyone who wants to smash it!

I finally received my invitation from Fanatec and plan to use it. Don't forget that once our orders are fulfilled, we'll be given one more invitation that we can transfer to others. So expect a wave of available invitations later this month and early December.
Ahh so the orders placed do far don't get an additional code until the order is fulfilled, that makes sense I suppose.
Im usually such a pessimistic guy, I can't remember the last time I was actually excited... But being able to order my kit after saving for so long is making feel as exited I was when I got my first master system v2 (with Alex kid built in)
New rig, project cars, forza, and possibly a ps4 announcement meaning GT and drive club too! This is a great year for sim racers and I honestly can't wait

I don't have a spare room to install mine in unfortunately so had to get sneaky to ensure the WAF :|
I've installed my monitor, speakers, PCs and consoles all in the living room and created a sweet spot right in front of the telly for my rig at the moment (without rig) she is finding it acceptable, but when I drop a rig in the living room expect my relationship status change to "single"
I'll throw a pic of my living/gaming room up to give you an idea and when I get my rig delivered Ill do a build video or review of all the products of anyone's interested?
Here is the rigs new location, that I've been massaging into place over the last 18 months.
I have added 2 earthquake subs, 6 floor standing dual cone speakers, 55" 3D hdtv plus 2 27" monitors set up for additional tv viewing and gaming for the wife and kids so hoping we can all be happy at the same time and possibly not end up single.
PC Instalked for gaming and media access plus the consoles and some spare room for a new console depending on fanatec support.
I just need to get my entire rig (listed above) installed in its new home
All hooked up to my AVR and more speakers etc behind me! It's gonna be awesome if I can get it sorted by Xmas, just hoping I can.
I'll review all the products I buy, plus post any vids or anything if you are interested in seeing all the kit from fanatic (handbrake etc) so hopefully this will all be complete soon. I've got 1900 euro sat here for fanatec, just unable to give them it due to the invite only scheme
