Not sure this is even the correct spot but I can’t find anywhere else. How the 🤬 tight is this holder screw supposed to be in the Fanatec CSP V3s? I got my brake performance kit yesterday and I can’t get this screw to back out. I’ve tried turning both ways just to be sure but since I can’t find anything about it being a reverse thread I’m pretty confident I’m turning it the correct way. I even went and got a new hex tool to make sure it wasn’t just me not being able to put enough pressure on the little BA one I had laying around. My new hex tool is now twisted.... and no sign this screw is even starting to come a little bit loose.

Yeah I’ve watched that as well as a couple of others, even the one from BoostedMedia complaining that other videos gloss over how to take the pin this screw holds in, they all make it seem like this screw is nothing, which it shouldn’t be but my brand new hex key is twisted almost 180 degrees on itself... Those were also where I was going to check and see if anyone mentioned this being a reverse thread

EDIT: also apparently if I delete everything from your comment so I don’t have the video twice in two messages it won’t quote you at all @super_gt

EDIT 2: Well after maybe 10 minutes on chat with one of the Fanatec support guys he setup an RMA for me to send the pedals in and have them install the BPK, Awesome. I know people say their support sucks but every time I have needed to get something fixed with Fanatec it is has been pretty easy.

Fanatec support has always been good to me going back 10 years now using their products.

Yeah I had an issue with my 911 Turbo S back in the day and after sending them a video of the issue they sent me a replacement and didn't even make me send the broken one back, so the kids play with it now. I'm waiting until I get my pedals back from this RMA but so far it's been much easier and better than I was expecting when I started the process.

I've sent you a PM.

Anyone have this happen.

Almost each day, I start driving a car that I use set up 1 in the tuning menu of the CSL Elite PS4 base in iRacing and migrate to a car that uses set up 2. Each day, when I first use set up 2, the brake force setting has changed to what set up 1 had. Annoying yes, but no big deal. I'm probably going to reload the drivers, but I'm just curious if this is more than a one off. Also note, all of the set ups are default with the exception of the brake force settings so its not so random to see it mirror another set up option.

If anyone else has odd issues like this, mine have been eliminated by the following:

Fresh install of Windows - Unlikely this made a difference, but I needed to do it.
Reinstalled drivers/firmware - Possibly made a difference
Left Fanalab off - I think this was the culprit. My bet is Fanalab was corrupted in some way on my PC as it never worked right. Notably the Brake Force setting always looked odd in the app.

Hi, I´m planning to upgrade my Elite Pedals to the Clubsport Pedals V3. I think I read something some time ago that the vibration on the brake pedal doesn't work on PS4 or GT Sport. Is this true? Anyone with the CSP V3 can confirm this or do they work perfect with GT Sport?

I'm not sure if it will work for you but give it a shot when you get them. It's only a workaround but I'm sure Fanatec and PD will get it sorted out in the future.

as far as I heard, the vibration is so minimal that it can only be understood barefoot. or is it a myth? Tell your point of view who has v3. thank

It works perfectly on GTS...just get it you won’t regret it

Just got the email that my wheel has been shipped by Fanatec. Haven’t heard what the issue was, but nice to see I wasn’t crazy lol.

Looking forward to getting it back and testing at Spa.

I'm trying to contact Fanatec support regarding my unit bought 3 weeks earlier, but it says:

"Add product, not purchased via store - Select your product and fill in all data to register your purchased product"
...Although i purchased it from their site. My unit is listed in My Account > Orders... But My Product page is empty... I don't understand how can i contact them?

Could someone please test this - Contact > Need technical Support ---> (I can't go any further.)

Bit worrying that my recently purchased +400€ unit is not even listed/verified in my profile...
We are still resolving some product history bugs. Please send an email to webshop (at) fanatec (dot) com and they may be able to resolve this manually.

Umm, probably a stupid question and somewhere it was explained but I couldn't find it. I have a csl elite ps4 and I use it mostly on ps4 GTSport. Is it possible to tune the base with fanalab on PC and then use it on PS4 with the new settings?

CSL elite wheelbase+ for PS4 and Fanatec BMW GT2 steering wheel.

Do you have? Works well in GTSport?

I want it. Looks real, â—‹32cm, alcantara works for me, weight isn't issue.

Thank you of tips!

Well.....this is strange. Received my return package from Fanatec today. The box felt a little light...... oh maybe because only the F1 rim is in the box..... seriously??? And how the heck do you access the live chat?? Can't find it on the site. @DomB_Fanatec

EDIT: Checked the tracking number/info "5lbs" well that makes sense. Did they forget to pack the base.... or did they just feel like wasting money with two shipments from California to NJ???

I have the CSL Elite PS4 wheel with the load cell brake kit. I've had it for about 6 months and everything works great. The other day while playing GTS I noticed the ABS light was coming on while I wasn't braking. It seems the bushings have probably settled and the dead spot has changed. So I plug it into the PC with the wheel in PC mode and the software doesn't recognize the wheel. There is nothing listed under controllers. I'm not sure what version drivers I'm using, whatever came with the wheel. Should I just download new drivers and if so what version? Should this fix the problem? Also will this allow me to eliminate the problem with the brake pedal?

@Chevy Heavy You can use the driver in the Downloads section of the CSL Elite Racing Wheel PS4 product page, or try a more recent beta driver available on the Fanatec forum. 340 and 346 are commonly suggested by support when taking a customer through troubleshooting steps. If you the driver is not detecting the hardware at all, try a different USB port. I suggest running a firmware update on the pedals if prompted. This may fix the problem, but if it doesn't you can also try to set a new 'Min' point for your brake pedal using the manual calibration mode.

If you are not having success in any of these steps, please contact the support team through the Fanatec website.

Hi @DomB_Fanatec . Just a quick question regarding driver updating seeing was mentioned above. Here's my issue:
The wheel is CSL Elite PS4. I've been experiencing intermittent "controller disconnected" issues for a couple months now (since around June actually)....was happening pretty frequently.
.......I've since replaced, approx 2 months now, the wheel's USB cable (has ferrite cores as recommended). That seemed to help as the disconnections became less and I could race for a longer period now....even for as long as 1-3 hours and at times with no disconnection at all but at other times it would still disconnect intermittently.

In addition to that about a month or so ago I got a "The Playstation/console is too hot....please shut done blah blah blah" error message on-screen prompt which then promptly automatically shut down the console. Following that I took the PS4 to a repair shop for a cleaning and also replaced the fan. That seemed to help also but still the intermittent disconnection issues as mentioned. At times I could hear the fan blowing at a rate. Perhaps it's normal I dunno. I was wondering if perhaps the wheel's disconnection issues....though less now, may partly be due to the PS4 console. Do you think that's a possibility? The PS4 is about 3-5 years old I think.

And about updating the driver. I think mine is v.311. Do you think, all things considered, updating the driver may resolve the intermittent disconnection issue or not?

My motor version shows 0. but my firmware is 328... Is this normal?
Yes, it’s normal, as far as I remember, 328 the driver has a tank that shows the engine motor 0. But in fact you look at what kind of motor you have there, click to update the database and you will be given a window. there is nothing complicated, there are even files on the fanatic site in discussions of 18 and 22 motor base

Nothing happens when I click that button. a window in the background appears in a split second and disappears...
