I'd purchase it if GT7 actually supported TrueForce. Maybe by GT9 it will lol.
If Jackermeier were still around, I believe it would already be in the game. It's more than likely he had a handshake deal with PD to incorporate it into the game. Unless the current generation of Japanese have changed, they would feel honor bound to fulfill their word. With him gone, they have no such loyalty to Corsair. I feel, or hope, that it will ultimately be in the game. Don't hold your breath in the meantime (been waiting over a year myself).

I don't trust PD to fix the broken mechanics in the game, let alone adding promised functionality to an officially supported 3rd party peripheral.

It is what it is. I just block it out of my mind, that FF is even supposed to exist. The game mechanics don't really bother me. I've got more of a problem with Fanatec with the intermittent loss of control with the wheel base, and the inability to bring the PBME up to par.

My thoughts exactly.

I'm a cheap bastard playing in a used PS4 pro and a used Thrustmaster T150 but with the new Thustmaster T598 available under 500 euro this wheel makes not much sense to me. Thrustmaster had finally the balls to do what no other company seemed interested in - offering an affordable and upgradable DD wheel to the PS users.
I just got the T598 and it's amazing but, personally I'd recommend a PS5 long before replacing the T150.

Agree. I mean, now that finally an affordable DD wheel has appeared and that PSVR2 is at its cheapest I'm running out of excuses. Still, the cheapest possible setup (non-pro digital PS5+PSVR2+T598) is 1400 euro...

The jump in performance in GT7 from PS4 to PS5 (with or without PSVR2) is worth every penny.

My guess would be that a new CS Pedal set is close by and they’re clearing out stock.

A lot of reviews claim the CSL Elite V2 are better than the V3 so an update is due.

I went back to my original CSL Elite pedals after spending about a year modding out and fiddling with my V3’s. The only thing my V3’s are better at is heel-toe - being that you can really adjust the pedal face positions with V3’s. But other than that, they’re dated.

Waiting for those podium pedals that they have allegedly been working on for years

Of course here we go.
The Settings are as following:

Wheelbase
Sensitivity : Auto
Full Force : 0
Force Feedback : 100
Natural DP : 28
Natural Fr : 5
Natural In : 0
Interpolation : 5
Force Effect Intensity : 100
FOR/DPR/SPR : 100
Brake Force : 60 or 65 ( preference)

GT7 In Game Settings :
Torque : 5
Sensitivity :1

Controller Sensitivity : 0 ( it minds AND it makes a difference, marginal and subtle, but it does matter)

Especially the Interpolation set to 5 made a huge difference in terms of realistic on track Wheel feel behavior.
The harsh Feedback signal feels smooth like butter and combined with the in game sensitivity set to 1 completely diminished the super unrealistic wheel oscillation.
Moreover the FFB feels absolutely aligned and doesn't overwhelm with harsh and unpleasant wheel shaking.
The Road Textures, bumps, curbs and especially the tire feedback feel absolutely smooth yet very precise.
The Wheel itself finally feels more then ever like the real thing, without sacrificing any details whatsoever.

It's firm, precise and so much on point that the driving becomes more natural than ever.
Most importantly the 3 most important Forces
Weight Transfer
Understeer
Oversteer
Are now balanced and precise in a way that driving on the edge is no guesswork anymore.
No more overly aggressive Noise or unsyncronized misleading effects.
The focus is completely on the above mentioned 3 most important Aspects.

Hope you like it, enjoy the ride 😁
@PirovacBoy - can I just check that when you refer to 'Controller Sensitivity : 0 ( it minds AND it makes a difference, marginal and subtle, but it does matter)' - this is the Controller Steering Setting in GT7 where the default setting is 5, but you recommend 0?

Hello guys
I just wanted to give those interested in my DD Extreme Settings a quick update
The following Settings should be more then enough to please anyone and provide a very rich and detailed FFB in GT7

Tuning Menu Settings
FFB 100
NDP 25
NFR 5
NIN 0
INT 4 ( very important)

GT7 In Game Settings
Torque 3
Sensitivity 8

ABS Setting Weak
Traction Control 1

These Settings provide an excellent driving experience with a very rich and detailed FFB.

Especially the INT Setting made a HUGE difference in overall feel.
Personally I wouldn't suggest going lower then 4 maybe 3 at absolute most with my Settings.
I 'll explain why.
The DD+ has a very very quick and harsh unfiltered way to transport the FFB.
Not comparable to the DD Pro.
With low INT Setting the Understeer Rattle becomes VERY apparent and very severe, leading to an unpleasant perception of the Cars' max available Traction Curve. It's simply too much and very distracting.
Other than that I'm absolutely convinced that my posted Settings should definitely satisfy all you out there trying to be as fast as possible whilst still keeping a firm and realistic mechanical and intuitive driving experience.
Feel free to give me your unfiltered opinion after trying them out and let's try to make it EVENTUALLY even better together with detailed explanation what u like/dislike and what you think could be improved and most important how.
Let's balance it out so we can enjoy GT7s precious FFB Driving Philosophy in the best possible way.

Very late reply but what exactly is the rattle? I think i'm experiencing the same and it's very annoying, almost made me think my base is defective, to me it feels like a cog is having trouble rotating and instead of a nice constant torgue i experience that distracting rattle, it has gotten better with new settings but still not sure how to manage it the best.

Negative Ghostrider.

FYI we reached out to Polyphony because some of the things in that YT video seemed incorrect, based on the in-game descriptions of the settings. I'd previously said that the controller sensitivity setting didn't have any effect on wheels and the description of the FFB Sensitivity setting also seemed incorrect, so here's the response from Polyphony:
  • "Controller Steering sensitivity" only affects the pad type controller and has no effect on steering wheels.
  • "Force feedback sensitivity" emphasises the feel near the centre of the steering wheel and has no damping effect.
