Fanatec GT3RS V2 & CSP problems?

Here are the links for the broken tab. I have already emailed the pics to Fanatec and hopefully they email back soon. The driver is for the pc and the first thing you're suppose to install before connecting the wheel. The name of the fil is PW_32_driver_104 if that helps any. I can't get past trying to install that. I don't know if that's just the driver or FW or if I download the FW after or what. I'm not the most pc savvy, so I really don't understand all of what you said. From "C root" I'm getting take it off off the desktop and put it somewhere in the C drive. Looks like I need to spend some time on the google machine.

I think that might be one of the taps that snaps the main faceplate in place, i will open up mine and have a look tonight. I dont think you have too much to worry about but is is annoying to get something new that has a defect.

P.s, did you prise of the metal badge only or the circular plastic face plate it is attached to

I actually just got a email from them today about it. it says...


This piece looks like one (of 4) plastic clamps which hold the screw inserts (to hardmount the wheel in place). Even if this part would be from this wheel I would had no doubt that any problem could come up. There are 3 other and these parts are additionally glued in place. The inserts could be only moved out of there place if you beat the screws in with a hammer. In fact I even tried that with no success in very early product tests ;-)

Well I'm about to finish my cockpit and I'm going to hard mount it so I really hope this doesn't affect it. I took the whole circular plastic face off.
