The whole bus sequence was a bit over the top for me. But what else can you expect from F&F now? I wish they had started the trailer with a slower bit. I mean, the end of the last movie they were in a calm, back at home in LA scene and then BAM, immediate action with no explanation as to how they got there. Not the best build up from one movie to the next.

So did they dump Lucas black? I know he is working on NCIS but thought he'd make a return, also that was a Lykan Motorsport car in the trailer

Augh yeah I knew it was Dubai.

I bet it will have a police chase on it and one of the cast commented on their cars because, you know.

Hmmm.... I miss old Fast & Furious. This seems to be another action flick with nice cars in, not really a car film. Plus, I don't really want to sit and try and figure out which is real Paul Walker, and which is fake Paul Walker.

.. obviously I'm still going to go and see it :D

Looks pretty average.

Disappointed to see that Lucas Black still doesn't seem to merit a position on the team.

Watched the trailer, looks more like Mission Impossible with a vengeance as a theme.
Cars and races in between dialogue and shooting/fighting/stunt action.

Lucas is definitely in the movie, relax people. Its just the first trailer you know.
Doesnt seem like he will be in the main cast however, the 'Furious 7' seem to have already been cast.

Yeah, they did confirm that he isnt a main cast in the 7th movie but will be one in the 8th movie. However, with Walker's death, i don't know if he will still be a main cast in the 8th movie since the plot could be change.

The way their making the movies now, i treat it as a video game turned into a movie so that it wouldn't look so stupid. It works and i found myself enjoying them :|

Edit : oh god i did not see the Lycan jumping from building to building coming . At least they didn't make the car survive the jump, that would be really stupid.

I think we should put the Mythbusters on top of that.

Can you actually jump a car from one skyscraper to another and make it out alive? :sly:

In Perfect conditions (right velocity, accleration and force) maybe but the car was flying in the trailer  , I think they should just admit the movie is set in an alternate universe where gravity and physics barely exist.

If only the movie looks as gritty as the poster....

They keep saying "one last ride" but then there's another movie! It's also turning from a racing movie to an action movie like the Avengers or something.

Oh my god   That was laughably bad.
What were you expecting? It's a Fast and Furious movie - they destroy expensive automobiles, throw in as much softcore porn as they can manage and still get a PG rating, and give work to any out-of-work rappers who show up for auditions. Then they worry about things like the script.

I just thought with this being the movie to honor Paul, they'd keep it grounded also seeing as it's the movie after Tokyo Drift(which kept the stupidity back a notch too). Don't know why they still insist with these "stunts" after the whole million mile airport laugh.

That's because they can't sustain it as a franchise based solely on street racing.
