Fastest Turbo Car challenge on the Test Course

310 hp or something... I tried almost everything (including racing mod) - I've spent about 20 minutes tuning it, and nothing helped... It just looked hopeless - I couldn't see back of any car at 2nd or 3rd lap, so I gave up the idea.

I think car horsepower is important in this track, not power to weight ratio. it seems we need car with more than 350 hp unless the car has very good power to weight ratio.

Here is more, all are FF and has more than 350hp. mugen integra, fiat coupe and mitsu eclipse.

I guess I was lucky that all car start slow so I can catch up the slowest car on the first corner of lap 3 and eventually slipstreaming and passing all car in second corner. HKS 180 SX flyby very fast on finish line .

Damnit i must be rubbish...I had a stock Jaguar XJ220 (except for suspension and gearbox upgrades)...and i cudnt do it, well done sucahyo


EDIT: I know im not rubbish, i beat the HKS with 100 less HP in the Sileighty...all it was was on lap 3 coming into T1 the HKS 180SX came alongside me as i swung down to the inside for the bottom lane, we collided and in my distraction i caught a bit of grass and slowed down slightly...before then i had quite a comfortable lead actually.

Man, that has to be annoying... That happened to me while I was driving a tuned TommyKaira R, and I just lost it, spinning off the road into the adjoining countryside.

Yeah an XJ220 should be able to smoke a drag car. Sounds like you just gotta get your timing right.

Nah all it was like i said i had a decent enough gap built up that the Drag Car didnt go to pass me until i was entering T1 on the final lap, me swinging down to the inside caused both of us to go accross the grass, not spinning but loosing a hellish amount of speed...ill try it in a few more cars now seein as i have some spare time

EDIT: To make up for disgracing the Jaguar, I decided to really challenge myself. The car - an old Toyota MA80 Supra '91. Maxxed out with everything EXCEPT racing modifications, ASM and TCS gives 440hp, vs 2 (yes, 2) HKS 180SX drag cars...horsepower on those? Start at 1000 and keep going...


It really was a close race - side-by-side at the flag, a real photo finish if ever their was one.

Keep talkin', you might inspire me. I'm getting kinda bored with GT4 and when I watched some of my GT2 replays the other day I was actually blown away by the action. GT4 may look great...it may have a lot of cool features, but there is something lacking there, know what I mean?

i beat the 180SX again this time there was no gap. but the PS1 thought so 0.001! i was like OMGZ i beat it again! Thats twice my 451BHP wagon can destroy a 1400BHP Monster!

Yeah that's cool... But maybe you'd better try some low-powered cars, kind of 350 hp? Anyone can win that race on a 700bhp GT-R

Yeah the AI cars had a little accedent causing the HKS to nearly spin .
