If you didn't get the 997 GT3 as a reward (I believe it costs $160k new), I'd say pick that up and slap Praiano's 650pp tune on it. It's definitely one of my favorite cars at the moment.

I fell in love with Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione and also had a great fun in Ford GT '06 on wet tracks. Not to forget Chevy Camaro ZL1 1LE which was the car that won most of the races for me early in the game.
Unashamedly biased jdm/Honda fan here.
Civic in all its variations and the S2000 are fun to drive and cheap as chips. The fk8 is pretty awesome, just like real life (I own one).
The gt86/brz can get in the sea, I'll never drive one even in a game - used to own one and pretty much hated everything about it after the first couple days ownership, lol.
Oh, and the gtr in all forms is sweet as hell and not silly money either.

Personally, the Super Formula car.
It handles like it's on rails, has ridiculous brakes, cornering speed is up there, acceleration is great, I guess it isn't elite level as far as top speed.
But, as an overall package, I love racing it.
Ditto, the Red Bull variants, the Mazda concept.

Here they are, in no particular order
- The Honda S660, when fully maxed out with Anti-Lag is quite frankly hilarious
So many flames it's like a portable flamethrower and sounds like an angry (and broken) V6, it looks like a toy NSX and it makes me smile all the time when I drive it! - The Alfa MiTo, really underrated in stock form and really happy how my 550pp one turned out and judging from my post in the customized car thread, I am really glad I am not the only one who appreciates it (at least a little bit)
- The Autobianchi A112 Abarth, it's incredible how agile and quick that thing is.
- The GR Yaris is still an incredible piece of kit, in both stock and tuned form
- On a more serious note, the Amuse 380RS is a literal weapon of a car, 100k but can easily reach 600pp and it is absurdly quick in stock form.
