Favorite Manufacturer

What's your favorite manufacturer? I'm not talking in terms of only one car, but what are you most happy with (for the most part) in terms of ALL the cars it has to offer? For me personally it's gotta be Nissan, from the R92CP to the Motul it's a nice Manufacturer.

Subaru.

I find my self driving more Subaru's than any other car. I just love AWD cars, and Subaru has the most.

I've always had a soft spot for Toyota. My family has owned several Toyotas over the years and they've been good cars (albeit really slow ones). Also, my brother owns a Mk. III Toyota Supra Turbo. Great fun to drive and to ride in.

I also have a soft spot for the brand new French cars (Peugeot, Citroen, Renault) as well as Volkswagen, simply for the appearance. I know very little about these cars in real life, but they do look wonderful. I'd love to own a Peugeot 206, it's such a pretty little car. It's too bad the GTI V is the only Volkswagen that reflects the company's new style, because I think the new Jetta, Passat and Phaeton look great too.

I have to hand it to Nissan as well, for carrying the torch with three different sports car lines - the Silvia, the Z, and the Skyline. Toyota used to do that, with the Celica, MR2, and Supra, but they ditched all three (shame on them). Now if Nissan would just bring the Silvia and the Skyline to the United States...

Chrysler for making a beautiful line of cars. Or any of the Big 3 manufacturers for that matter.

Volkswagen. The Beetle is my love, and the Rabbit and Karmann-Ghia can be my affairs.;) Ruf comes in at a close second. I love to take the Yellowbird on a spin on N1's at the Nurb.

Peugeot. Hands down, no contest for me. We drive Peugeots, they're sexy as hell (only rivalled by the Alfa Romeos), sporty drives, and... I'm biased :P
2nd place is a tough fight between Renault and Alfa Romeo, though.

Would be Lotus for me I guess. The Elan is my favourite racer, and there isn't a Lotus in the game that I dislike, so it would do well on a sort of "total average" rating. There's a car in the Lotus range for most my driving moods. The early Esprit for the looks, the Esprit V8s for decent mid engined handling and solid performance, the Carlton for some muscle car thrills, and if I want a bit more oversteer the Europa does the job. And all this before applying any mods.

I know Alfa should be in my list but their modern fwd models just don't do it for me, in the game or on the road. If GT4 was released 20 years ago it would be a different story. If I had Alfetta GTVs, 75s and Giuliettas to play with, I probably wouldn't drive anything else :)

TVR, all the cars are fantastic, they've got the V8 S if you fancy driving a less modern car, the Cerbera and Griffith, two works of great beauty and great performance to boot. The Tuscan and T350C two more modern sportscars with high power and low weight and then the Speed 12, the ultimate supercar. Ever. I think you can probably tell that I like TVR's.

Hmmm . . . Thats tough.

3 Weeks ago it was VW.
2 weeks ago it was Alfa's.
last week it was Audi's
This week its Chevy's. (Corvette's at the moment.)

um . . . I'll have to get back to you on this later . . .

It gotta be either Nissan because i love the Silvia, Skyline and Sileighty
Toyota because i love the 90s Supra
Or Ford Because i love the RS200

Well, manufacter is quite hard.. i'd have to say nissan, it has a beautiful range in oldies (60's skylines and Bluebird and silvia) great 70's (Z) 80's are splendid too, release of the skyline r32 and the old skylines too and the first silvias, then the 90's with the r33 and r34 and the Newer Z and silvia's.. yup, nissan.
But basically, i love a really wide range of cars, but nissan was the first i tought of.

Honda all the way!:)

Best range of newercars! S2000, NSX-R, Type-R's, and the best FF's n the game! Plenty of oldies too! City Turbo, Original Civic, S500, S600!:sly:

1)Toyota: Minolta: simply all-powerful and meets my definition of Aesthetics
the 7: High in RPM, Killer at the Ring, looks like go-cart, no
headlights
2)Audi: Le Mans Quattro: High Torque at Low RPM, Great Drifter, Active
spoiler when achieved a certain speed, Nice
headlights
R8: A great 24 hrs endurance runner, looks Aggressive and I love Drifting it..
3)Nissan: R34s : Especially Pace Car, not-so-bad drifter, many varieties
R92CP: Superb, Excellent Performance in the short run, Unique
Style of Spoiler, I love Drifting it, also comes in Black..

Ford all the way.

From the model T right through to the new GT, I can think of enough from each decade to fill my driveway.
Pre-war coupes/sedans/deliveries/roadsters.
Post-war fat fendered coupes and trucks.
T'birds, Mustangs, GT's from the states.
Anglia, Zephyr, Cortina, Granada, Escort, Focus,

Sure there's been a few dud's, but there's no other manufacturer where I could even list a model for each decade, let alone one that I liked.

I hope that there's a wider range of Fords in the next GT.

Speaking of Ford, I was at a dealer by my house. They had such a beautiful Ford GT. Red with white racing stripes. I swear I must have got weak in the knees.

Well its a tough choice, but I'd say my fav manufacturer is Mercedes-Benz,for The SLR,CLK-GTR,C9 and all the SL series, and the CLK touring car.

MY favorite car manufacturer HAS to be Pagani, hands down. Mainly because of the look of their cars.

Try this, supe it up with all parts except racing exhaust, then put auto gear to 25,and she'll do 0-60 in 2.0 seconds and the quarter mile in 9.184 seconds, and she'll reach up to 257 Mp/h!

Like the others it is so hard to say. There are so many that I really like. If I had to choose a favorite, thouugh, I would probably choose Dodge. They have a vehicle that will satisfy just about every one of my automotive desires. :dopey: The Viper GTS being my favorite. The Ram is awesome for rallies and some road races. The Neon is a great handling little car. The Viper (SRT and GTS) will hang with the best of them. The Team Oreca race car handles great. The muscle cars are sweet.

A close second would probably be Chevy. What can I say? The Corvette is an swesome handling car. I couldn't believe how well it handled the first time I drove it. The C5R race car also handles very well. The Silverado SSR concept is one cool truck. I love driving it. I think Chevy's greatest strength is its selection of muscle cars. All sorts of Corvettes, Camaros, and the legendary Chevelle.

Next, I would say Ford. They have a nice selection of vehicles. The '05 Mustang handles well and sounds great. Can't complain about the looks, either. The Lightning is quick and agile. The GT is where it's at, though. That is a definition of a supercar. Incredible power, speed, and handling. It looks awesome. I just wish PD would have included more Ford muscle cars.
