To be honest with you. Do you think this is a good example for what you are trying to say.You just stated that power isn't everything to you, but then stated that you your favorite cars are a 787B, which has 903 Hp, and a R89CP, which has 1192 HP. So you picked one car that has enough power to rotate the planet, and another car that has enough power to rotate the solar system.
Point taken, your power hungry!
(granted the group c cars do also handle and brake well and I do like them, but just not a good example)
The reason why I used the 787B and the R89CP as a comparison is because the R89CP has 289 more HP than the 787B but I still love the 787B more which obviously means more power is not always my preference. And I do feel that comparing two Class C's can be a good comparison first of all because the 787B has better tire life and is a little more stable than the R89CP race car IMO. Sure the R89CP has more power and is a little faster on the straights but I can car less for that the 787B handles better and that is why I prefer it, now can you see my point eg6_Dude

mine has to be Nissan,i actually owned a celica and it was fun but nothing compared to my S13,so yes my fav has to be nissan.

I have already seen your point, I was just plainly stating that your comparison was not the most effective.
If you had plainly stated that the R89CP was a amazing car and then stated that you also enjoyed (only for example) driving your MR-S with 200hp then I would have taken you more seriously.
But...after all I am not here to pick fights or tell people whats what

Its hard for me to pin down a specific manufacturer, especially with so many varied and unique cars in the game.
One car I keep coming back to is the Ginetta G4. On my first game, I put over 30K miles on that car alone. It also won me several trophies, including the 1000km championship.
Overall though, my favorite manufacturer is probably Honda, for their huge variety - from the compact Life Step Van and robust little S500 to the street-racing NSX, all the way up to the professional race cars. It may not have the "best of the best" in every category, but there is just about a car for everyone here.

I have a very hard time trying to figure out which car manufacturer I like the most. But out of them all...
I choose Nissan and Chevrolet because since GT1, I've fallen in love with the R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R line of cars and the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport. I've always had to make sure I have gotten those cars in my garage for every game.

UK - TVR - You can't say no the sound of a Speed Six Cerbera
Jaguar- The XJR-9, obviously, and the S-Type R. The first is a tail happy beast, and the second is sheer luxury at speed.
America - Sorry. I'm not really a big fan of American cars, though I do like the Chaparrals. My fully tuned Saleen S7 at La Sarthe II, 245mp/h down the straight, beaten by fully tuned TVR Cerbera Speed Six.
Korea - Proto Motors - The Spirra is quick. Really quick.
Germany - BMW - Just for the Maclaren F1, M3 GTR and the 3-Series Touring Car.
Audi - The Type C Streamline. Amazing piece of engineering.
Italy - Lancia - You've got to love the looks of the Stratos. And then there's the Delat Integrale and the S4.
Australia - Ford - The Falcon XR8 is fun. Aussie V8's rule.
Japan - No idea. I like cars from most of the manufacturers, but I don't have a favourite. (Though I do prefer the Nissan Skyline to the Toyota Supra, and the Honda NSX by miles over those two.

Two words....Aston Martin to me this has to be the best Manufacture, not for quantity but for pure elegance. Out of there cars my favourite is the DB9 followed by the DB7 then Vanquish then the old V8 Vantage. Everytime I drive one of them it gives me a buzz of excitement it is fantastic.

I'm gonna have to say Jaguar. Not just because I'm a fanboy, or anything....
but every car that is manufactured by Jaguar in the game is gorgeous. That, and they're all incredibly powerful.

None. I can't play the game without being able to choose which cars to drive. I do love hondas, but I couldn't play the gam without Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Renault, Nissan, etc.
It's just too much of a choice to decide, as I pretty much love them all... well, Chrysler isn't that great.

It would have to be Nissan for me, they have a large selection of cars also my fist cars is going to be a Nissan, also they have the Skyline and you just can't beat a fully tuned GT-R 
and the Sil-Eighty is one of the sexiest cars

My favorite out of all is Lotus. Thier cars got style, slight oversteer, and most of them are MR. You can have fun driving the elises on tight boards. I'm suprised that not many people said Renault. I bought every car from that company and fully modified them. The Clio V6's, Clio cup car, and Renault 5 Turbo are 2 of my favorite cars since they can drift, accelerate nice, driving these cars takes skill to handle. I also like Toyota for thier supra JGTC's and Nissan for thier 350z JGTC. The ginetta g4 is one of my favorite cars since its fun to drive.
