Hello everyone,

With so many nationalities on this forum, I just wonder: What's your favourite circuit from the country you live in?

Since I'm from Holland and we only have 2 circuits, I choose Assen.

America has so many to choose from, it's very difficult.

But I'll pick this one.

Being from Scotland, we only have 1 proper race track: Knockhill. However good racing is always on the cards, especially when the British Touring Cars come to town.

Hello everyone,

Well since you said it like that, I can vote for Suzuka. As for my country of origin, Knockhill.

Not technically my local track (that would be Three Sisters), but certainly the closest track that holds bigger motorsport events - Oulton Park:

Some people call it a mini-Nurburgring due to the narrow track, fast corners and bumps and undulations all over the place. Its always a great place to test cars and setups in iRacing as it has a great mix of corners that really show up any handling problems.

There's only one track longer than 3km in Ireland, and that's Mondello Park. It wins by default.

The only problem with Oulton is the clunky Foulstons Chicane after the hairpin. It is there for a good reason, but it could have been done much better than it has been.

Watkins Glen is my home track. My family and friends have attended the Formula 1 grand prix and CanAm races their for the longest time. Beautiful circuit as well.

My local track is Snetterton, which is easily one of my favourites but I'd probably have to go with Brands Hatch too. Lots of happy (and a few bad) memories of that place!

Bathurst, of course! Although it is really one of two (permanent) circuits in Australia up to international standards, the other being Phillip Island. The rest of the circuits down here are produce some pretty good races but for the most part I occasionally feel like our top racing series' are close to outgrowing them. But with that said I don't feel like our top series should be racing on F1 grade circuits, the V8 Supercar races in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, China and Austin have all been pretty dull compared to the races at home.

Australia does have a good collection of street circuits, for sure. I've attended the Clipsal 500 at the Adelaide Street Circuit every year since 2003 and I absolutely love it. The track produces fantastic races every year, the facilities do leave a little bit to be desired but it's always great for the fans, with lots of general admission viewing areas (especially for a street circuit) with a decent view and shade. Albert Park is fantastic too, although I haven't actually been there, but even as a South Australian I can say that it deserves F1 much more than Adelaide!

If you're Canadian and you don't chose Mosport then there's something wrong.

I would argue that Mont-Tremblant is as good as Mosport.

Thus, I can't decide which is my favorite.

Silverstone.

If you want the answer as of where I see myself being in 7 or so years. Fuji.

Like the other Scots, I only have Knockhill to pick.

If you widen it to the UK though, I'd say Oulton Park is my favourite, closely followed by Cadwell Park.

Brands Hatch is my local one, but I have to go with Silverstone, especially for motorcycle racing.

The best circuit in the country I am currently located in is Mont-Tremblant. Though my favourite circuit in the country where I'm originally from is Tor Poznan.
