When will we get the rewards for participating in February?
I read on the official forums that it would be Wednesday, but I'm not sure if that's when the trial ends or when they send us the cars.
When will we get the rewards for participating in February?
If that happens to you, use rewind and do the corners again. Your lap will still be dirty for using rewind, but you start the next lap clean. This also works if you mess it before the Dunlop tire, rewind all the way back before crossing the line, and the lap will start clean.I am behind at Daytona now by 4+ tenths of a second, I will try a few more times, but it's not likely I can get my time down and beat him. I've had better success at Le Mans, I dropped down to a 402.918, off by 2 tenths of a second. But there is hope, as I have had my split time down to -1.4 secs on the front stretch, only to lose it on the back stretch or dirty my lap on one of the corners. What REALLY gets me is, the 2 switchbacks at the end. Ugh! You get a penalty for the lap you're on, AND the next lap! C'mon now! The handling on that GT, over steer? The back stretch has lots of turns that it's so easy to lose time on. You have to be so gentle and have the correct attitude approaching the turns.
Confirmed in the official forums, the event closes on Wednesday 7, midnight Pacific time".
Nope, the event isn't over yet. You've still got 16 + hours left.
Oh I forgot about the rewind. I haven't used it since Forza 5? I remember now that you can do that. Thanks for the tips! I just did a 4:01.xxx but it was a dirty lap. Ugh. However, it gives me faith that I CAN do it!
Is this event over yet? Has anybody so far recieved the gift cars?
Aww man I tried to beat his current time right before work today. I was gonna try again after I got home but if it’s closed then I’m outta luck. The understeer is annoying in that car then it oversteers if you give it too much gas in 2nd and a bit in 3rd. The old GT40 was very very loose, especially for a race car.The event appears to be over. I had just finished around 8 laps at Le Mans, lowering my time to a 4:02.123, (I already had him beat by .215 and was trying to get a 4:01.xxx). When I finished, I was going to try again at Daytona, but both events were gone from the Rivals Menu when I exited. I was unable to get any lower than a 1:48.516. The 2017 Ford GT just isn't my car, the understeer killed me on the 'Y" infield section, and I just could not squeeze any more time out for the life of me. I gave it a good shot but came up short. Well at least I won 1 of the 2! Kudo's to all the drivers who bested him and thanks for everyone for the tips and help!!!
So happy to own a GT3 RS now!
Wait, the other FE reward car was a Mustang? Didn't I read somewhere that it was a Mini Cooper??? I already have the 93 Mustang Cobra FE, so that would be a repeat, correct? Oh Wow! then I am SO glad that I didn't put in all those hours trying to beat Alan Hartman's time at Daytona, only to WIN A CAR THAT I ALREADY HAVE! Whew! What a relief. I haven't driven any of the reward cars yet. I was super excited to get the Forza Edition cars, but honestly I am just as excited to test drive the MG and the GT3 RS. Too bad this weekend will be the warmest of the winter. I'll have to resist going cycling, to do some virtual driving!
1958 MG MGA Twin-Cam. The car is Gifted 'stock', with homologation parts acquired but not installed. What are the stats on the MG?
I was thinking perhaps 1 of the Lotus Track Toys. But I do so much like the Jags! NiceI’d say the event will probably be something like Jaguar F-Type Project 7 on Silverstone
