You're right Chatty, let's focus on the positives, maybe Red and I got off on the wrong foot. Red you're a great racer and I had a blast today. Sorry if you felt attacked, I was angry. I honestly think it was just a mistake. You're damn fast, I look forward to next time and I hope we can put this behind us!

I don´t know about the accident, but you posted a hate/complain message during the race and that is disturbing to all in the lobby...

I get a stupid disconnect server when I was having my most consistent race yet! I had a nice battle with ArtMannn for 3rd and had consistency with me...

Yes, nice battle.
I saw you lagging a bit all the time, maybe your connection had some problems yesterday.

...exciting first few laps and the reason i joined this league was for competition like i had today...

...but for some reason I get disconnected! So angry right now, I just can't explain it. All that time preparing and get a disconnection...

Thats why i prefer 2 or 3 small races (with reverse grid to speed up proceedings) than a big one each day.

...If you haven't noticed I absolutely deplore that track...

Same for me and somebody else:

The funny think is a voice (form outside) in Portuguese (She is Portuguese) just in the end, quoting "you lapped so slow".

WOW!! I heard it was a great race yesterday sad I couldn't make it was spending fathers day with my dad but it sounds like the competition is the closest its ever been! :) Also, testing never stops so get out there and prarctice till ur arms fall off (or thumbs if ur using DS3 :D ). As for strategy for the next race, its definately a 2 stopper. one for tires and gas one for just tires is how im playing it out but we all drive different and have different setups so my strategy might not work for some.

We've already moved on from this, but since you're rehashing it...

At the time I thought my race was ruined and was trying to give the heads up to other people who might race around him so they didn't get their races ruined too. We've since moved on though and now I know that wasn't the case, but I don't think it's wrong to warn people of potentially dirty drivers. Personally, I would want to know, if your concentration is so fickle that you can't look at a quick warning message maybe you're in a league that's too difficult...

Thanks for your opinion though, quite timely.

Alright, anyone up for a Grand Valley practice? I'm itching to see what that track's about.

So after some tuning I managed to get a 1:21.643 on an 85% tank, is that good?

I´m not rehashing it:
I don´t know about the accident...

I only totally agreed with you:
...the rules brother. The rules state...

Ferrari F1 2010 World Championship rules:

"• Read and follow GTP racing rules."

GTPlanet racing rules:

Contact the driver concerned privately (GTP_PM or PSN_PM)
Discuss in a manner that is normally acceptable here at GTP (AUP)
If a complaint cannot be resolved privately then as a last resort contact a GTP_Race Admin
Name PM subject title 'Racing Complaint'
Supply Members PSN_Tag
Supply Date & time of incident
Supply Event type

I was warning others to be careful during the race not have a discussion or complain, warning isn't against the rules. Perhaps the rules should be clarified. I did pm the race director after the race. If you notice my original comment on the public forum after the race I wasn't disputing anything all I asked was if we could prevent those who aren't in the league from participating. The rest are responses. It was over 12 hours after the matter was settled that you decided to bring it up again, that's why I was surprised and annoyed. Let's move on please.

I did not bring that matter but a absolutely different and personal concern.

Warning about a dirty driver is a warning, only after the responsible decided (after carefully check the replay) that the concerned driver is dirty, never before.
And in this series that responsible is IMMORTALPILOT, not you, i think.

...Let's move on please.
I think is the best, but pity you only realise that after so many noise about from you...

PM me if you have further concerns. I don't think it's fair to everyone to continue discussing it in public. Let's have a fun race next week, I'll be on in a few to practice if you're around let's have some fun.

And friends as ever.
Thanks about the practice, but is time to sleep, in another day i will be pleased to join you.

1:21.6 is very good but its not about doing fast laps its about consistency if you can do 1:21's over and over again than you may be able to finish well in the race. Also, the competitive side of me compells me to tell you that my best lap is a 1:21.531 at about 85% fuel :D

I did that lap on a different tune, my new tune feels much faster through the bends, though I haven't tried turning in a fast lap yet. Will let you know when I can.

interesting I think this track will test our setup skills abit more than DRC and that just proves my theory because I've already changed my setup abit. My car seems to become alot losser with less gas but my best time with minimal gas is a 1:21.024

You'll love it, seriously amazing. Creates a folder on your computer and whatever is in that folder is the same on everyone's computer who you give access to.

All you have to do is drag and drop the file into the folder like you would any other and it instantly starts uploading from your computer and downloading on everyone else's. Best internet invention since instant messaging!

Im having trouble with it . It wont give me a link for the entire folder it only gives links for the 45 ish small folders its made up of :ouch: No more zipped files my:censored:
EDIT
Got the link to the zipped file and sent it to toolo just waiting to hear from him.

There's two ways you can share it, you can either share a folder with someone or you can put it in your public folder then right click the file and click "get link".

I heard a rumor they were getting rid of the "public folder" for new members. If that's the case you'll just have to share a folder with whoever you want to send it to by entering their email address. Hopefully that helps!

Edit: I just woke up and didn't see your edit. Good stuff.

Looks not good guys.
Looks that schwartz not send us the graphics.
I wait one day when not i make my own again.

Thanks for the tune killa ive modified it to my liking and its going well .
Low fuel has me at a 1:21.015 and a 21.4 on mediums . sadly though my tire ware isnt much better so ill be at a 3 stopper Hoping! not to do a 4 as even my mediums are gone in12 laps leaving me do 1:24s.

If so can it be the last race therefore everyone has time to purchase it depending on when it comes out? But yeah I personally think that would be awesome

Thank goodness I haven't given you the weapon you needed to beat me :P

I'm currently running 1:20s in low fuel and 21.3s in 90% tank. Hopefully I'll hit 19s in low-med fuel.

EDIT - If I may ask what is your DS3 configuration?

Been really busy so only done a few laps on this one. What are the average times with a full tank?

Edit: The DS3 might be an advantage for you guys here because catching the oversteer on the hairpin is basically impossible with my wheel once it starts to go. I was losing buckets of time trying to get through it consistently lap after lap.

On full tank? Haven't been able to do a full-tank lap yet, since my out-laps take out about 5 liters of fuel on my car. 90% tank is what I can do after my out-lap. And oversteer isn't a problem for me on the hairpin, if you really want to not have oversteer, just have a high rear camber. Although what I do is just slowly go from the outside line to the inside line and carefully apply the throttle. I'm trying to be more smooth here, tire wear here affects lap times greatly.

Great advice thanks gh, I was racing some guys online monday and destroying them completely drunk so had no idea what the real pace was like. Don't think I broke the 22's though. It's 100 (38c) degrees here right now, going to be a hot race this weekend!

yes it was man, and damn good job on that impressive 1.18.4 way to obliterate our times hahaaha this should be a good race hopefully not to many wrecks and we dont have any rage quits either

Well now if you can just keep a consistant race pace going :P

If I may ask what the hell would you like to know exactly?

Back when I was using a controller L2 and R2 for brake and gas respectively was the only way to go. And disable O so you don't accidentally hit the emergency brake with your palm!

Edit: Oh yeah, and map the right stick to look left/right and click it down to look behind you.
