Well now if you can just keep a consistant race pace going :P

If I may ask what the hell would you like to know exactly?

I want to know what DS3 buttons your using. Like me for example I use square and x to accel/decel and use L2 R2 to shift gears. I know it seems like an odd question but it's because everyone else who has a DS3 uses R2 L2 to brake/accelerate and right analog to shift...

You use X and square?! How the hell do you pull that off?!

Use L1 and R1 to shift and as you said L2 and R2 for brake/accel, if you've been using x and square this whole time you're putting yourself at a serious disadvantage.

Eh? I don't think I'm putting myself at that much of a disadvantage? I'm able to hang on to you guys for a bit and I've gotten used to X and Square because I was using those buttons ever since I was 4. It's like second-nature to me now, I've been able to beat some guys using DFGTs and G27s online using only my DS3. My right thumb is used to doing all the work

I know man, I wonder how good you'd be if you used L2 and R2 if you're already this good. Seriously I don't get it, most of braking is trail braking and you can't trail brake if you can't gradually let off the brake to guide the weight. Completely mystified how the hell you've managed to make it work!

Seriously, if you start using L2 and R2 we're all f'd. You've been a one legged man in an ass kicking contest up until this point and you were still kicking butt!

Edit: Now that I'm thinking about it if you've been doing it since you were 4 no wonder. I was 20 something years old when GT1 came out. Put a kid's mind on anything and they can adapt every time. My old brain is too gummed up with beer and sticky icky.

Well, enough about my driving style, let's talk about the league now. :P

Okay, after doing some laps with my new tune, I have massive oversteer problems after 3 laps and the back feels like its driving on ice. Tune's good for hot-laps, not good for race. Going to dial less front wing downforce...

Try toeing in the rear wheels more. You online right now? Was thinking about putting in some practice laps.

Doesn't everyone run full downforce on most tracks?

I use both joy sticks actually steering left gas and brake right , its what ive used ever since i picked up a playstation driving game i supose it was just natural so changing it would be impossable. R1 is also set as a brake & shifting is the usual L2 R2

Ye even Immo's on full downforce all the time, i really dont think dialing in for speed is the right way to go .

Me either, Tom taught me that early on. If max downforce is best for Daytona Road which is very high speed I can't imagine less being of use anywhere on our schedule. The only real world track I could see it mattering on would be no chicanes at sarthe.

ATR car is what exactly and why is it important to you? I don't understand the full connection there.

Yes m8 is the ATR Car from Rfactor.

Just Downloaded rFactor.... Haven`t tried it yet... I hope it`s good, cause creating a livery is the only thing missing from GT5...

And frankly iRacing sucked. I hate in-car view, 2/3 of the screen is useless junk. I need to see beyond the next corner as much as possible to race effectively. IRL, anything 50 feet ahead of you is history, and you should always be focusing on your exit point (track-on) before your turn-in. With in-car view, it's forcing a bad habit of staring at the immediate section of road in front of you....

Hmm, I should just by a decent pc and hook it up to my tv. That would work, correct? I wouldn't mind trying out rFactor.

The graphics look great compared to other rFactor vids I've seen. Usually rFactor's graphics are pixelated. Is this a new version of rFactor?

Yeah you can hook your pc up to your tv. I'm typing on my 61" samsung right now.

I have to coach a Soccer Tournament this weekend, and the Finals are Sunday at 3:30MDT so I won't be able to make the Grand Valley race.

 how'd you do that!?
You wont believe it, i was in the shower and tried to hold the towel diagonally to wash my back, like i always do, and the next thing i know i'm in excruciating pain, it felt like my heart, arm and shoulder blades were ripped out by a vampire.
Sorry that was when it got worse, it started into the first corner of Motegi, i was on a hot lap, and when i braked soo hard and pulled the steering wheel off the table coz the crappy car would not stop fast enough.
It reminded me when i was doing a race at Monaco a few months back and i did the same thing while braking into rascasse, luckily it was on the final lap and i braked so hard and pulled the steering wheel right off the table i finished the race with my wheel on my lap :D
ITS NOT FUNNY AND I"M SURE EVERYONE WITH A WHEEL HAS DONE IT BEFORE!!! RIGHT?????

Well, for some reason my cars seem to respond to my entire body movements rather than just my arms and feet. I wonder what will happen if i started using DS3 again?

Well you know how race drivers mostly F1 drivers tilt there head into a corner? well i tend to do that when im consentrating on a lap with out even having to think that im doing it
must look funny doing that with a DS3.

Did a few laps of sarthe 05 in pratice mode and it so much fun, i ran a 3:05 .

Its a tricky track in a few places and i was almost flat out through the Porsche curves.

In short im very exicted to run this track later on this season :D
