Thanks... I'll download it sometime tonight. Sounds good! I was practicing last night on the current Monza track. 1:58.895 was my best. I'll see how different it will be with the older version. Sorry to say.....I did lose my mustache on the first turn (chicane) if anyone locates it, please return the mo to my pit crew.

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend tomorrow :(

I do however like the 80s Monza a lot more. I hated the first chicane of that track :banghead: but now I really like it. I like the rest of the track too and that one turn on brands after Druids (I don't know what it's called ) but it's much easier and it feels much better now 👍

The room is open for practice. Qualifying for the first race will start at 4pm EDT and the second race should start a bit after 4:30.

Having weird network issues causing failure to load GT. Replaced router and reinstalling GT updates after removing the data...

Going to miss tonights racing it seems... :guilty:

Good racing today. Seems Spa lives up to it's reputation of being a tough track, a bit rough but it's was quite rewarding getting that car around there cleanly. Congrats to @kHamcio and @Litchi on their victories.

We're going to be taking the 458 Italia to la Sarthe the week after the GTO, seems only fitting since that will be Le Mans weekend. :sly: It's going to be a bit challenging so I recommend getting some practice in early, and there will be time change so do some practice in the dark. 👍

Congrats to the winners.

Drove as bad as I think I can today. Had one good spell in race 2 when I was all alone in 3rd, did low 33s until I caught up to Hamcio and then my driving went back to ****. It's all mental, so easy to lap quickly and consistently in warmup/practice but during the race it's a whole different ball game.

Oh, and we will be using the 80's version of Monza next week with the GTO so get your practice in now! 👍

:dunce: 0/10 for reading retention for me! :dunce:

👍 Yup -- like when you caught me on Tuesday; mid-race I was running a really nice (for me) pace that would have been sufficient to stay clear of you even with your 33's -- but the moment I saw you were into 2nd place, I started overdriving and fell right off the pace. I think I lost that race as much as you won it, to take nothing from your phenomenal pace. 👍

Can you believe we just finished our 6th week of racing Ferrari's?! I really had doubts about whether this thing would take off but I've been very pleased with the cars and the crowds and the racing and had a lot of fun. Of course, my name still isn't on the Wall of Champions. Since we're getting towards the end of the useable Ferrari's I suppose I'll have to start thinking about what manufacturer the next Festival will feature. :sly:

I've not taken the Mustache Mobile around 80's Monza yet so I plan on having a room open this evening for some practice, maybe around 7:30pm EDT or so. If anybody wants to join, feel free. 👍

Also, I will not be available to host this Saturday as I will be attending this: http://www.indianapolismotorspeedway.com/about/52487/ Is anyone else available to guest host?

Lamborghini Brandon! But please don't pick the diablo gt2 :scared: :yuck:.
After awhile though you should revive the Ferrari festival and we can reuse cars just on different tracks.

RUF would be pretty cool, and it's not as though anyone else is hosting a series with them anyway *cough*.

Well, seeing as the Ferrari's could be a bit of a handful I was thinking that the next selection would be something a bit less homicidal. BMW has a good selection of cars, several premiums too. If I pick Nissan/Toyota/Mazda it would take the rest of our lives to work through just one of them. If we do one of those I would just go with the most popular models and only one of each model (except in cases like the Miata where we could do a first gen Miata as well as the most recent model. same with RX-7's and Skylines/GTR's). I could also do something like an AWD Festival, one week could be a Subaru, then a Mitsu Evo, then a GT-R, then an Audi, etc. etc. Another could be Track Day Festival with such cars as the Rocket, Xbow, Caterham, etc.

Just some thoughts. Seems like this format is pleasing and attracting a good crowd so it should be easy enough to just swap in a new "theme" for the Festival and keep things rolling. As always, I'm open to ideas. 👍

Probably for the best, things like the mark 1, 2, and 3 MR2s are different beasts though, along with that RWD corolla that everyone seems to rave about, the Celica GT4, Supra, Altezza, etc; whatever the case I'm happy enough with more or less anything that doesn't involve downforce.

There will likely be cars with downforce mixed in occasionally. I really enjoy racing proper race cars and have been missing it lately since I haven't really raced any in GT6 (besides the 4 weeks with the Bimmer).
