Alright, first of all, that EG Civic you got with the wing is ugly...It's Civic SiR - III EG, thought you'd know.

In My Game as Im looking at it RIGHT NOW its a SiR II NOT III, I just thought you should know (And would think a guy who loves off JDM would Know), and I know the wing is ugly the whole car is ugly its there for performance, and let me tellyou I tried your set up and I sugest you give mine a Try, if you like this Egg.

Its all good.

Codebreaker, its got a cash Code and Code to purchase all cars for a Buck, even unsold cars.

I havnt raced for cash in like 4 months

Codebreaker also enables you to swap and post replay files (The actual file) and load it to your memory card and watch it in the replay theater. iTS ppretty cool checking out other people replays.
 
I appreciate it more if I earn it honestly.. IMO, even using F1 is cheating of some sort.. oh well.. matter of taste. :P

Ive Played each edition religeously, Doing the same races Over and over and over and over and over for Cash. Ive earned the right to never race for cash again. Racing over and over for cash means nothing but you waisted ALOT of time doing the same thing over and over again.

20 bucks, and Never race a race for cash again, Its not cheeting as long as you win all races in your percentage, Cash doesnt count for %, so Who the Hell cares. Besides, I got 100% like 6 months ago (Before I got the Codebreaker) Im a Tuner, I Tune the cars, doing DTM for cash was fine untill I got a Trillion Dollars.


It has codes for pretty much every PS2 Game

Downforce
The downforce should be adjusted according to the track, For Races where there is tire wear, reducing the Downforce will add life to the tires. Some prefer not to add a wing to some cars, that is user pref, unless the game doesnt allow a wing to be added.

Tires
I Tune with Race tires, For races with tire wear try to use harder tires on the wheels applying power they will lose tread faster, try to ballance the tire wear for the front & rear with diferent softnesses of Tire.

Oil Changes & HP Loss
get oil changes as often as possible, as the cars engine will loose hp with deminished oil quality, a oil change gets the HP back up, but with mileage the car will eventually drop a little Hp.

Camber Angle
Increases to the Camber can be made to improve handling in banked turns, & in other various places along the track, it should be adjusted to the specific track needs.

ASM
I leave the ASM “Over-steer”, & “Under-steer” at 0, but theses are adjustable to your own preference, and to what YOU are comfortable with.

TCS
I Tune with Race tires so if you race the car with street tires, or Hard Racing tires, you might need to bump up the TCS if you are loosing a lot of traction. (mostly for the High Hp cars)

IMPORTANT

i didn't put any power mods except the oil, balancing and polish.

the engine makes 254 HP. not very impressive but hey, who says lower-powered cars ain't fun?

the car runs on S1 tires.

it has weight reduction lvl 3 and roll cage

on midfield, it can reach 1:25.500. again, this is on S1 tires.

the rest is whatever you want, i didn't use them.


the torque kicks in early and the hp drops before the redline is reached so you'll need to shift before reaching the redline to avoid losing any momentum.

it's still plenty fast though.

Anyway, I'm looking for some advice on the Peugeot 106 Rallye. I've tuned it pretty much to the max (no wings or rollcage) and want to use it in the Nür 4 hours enduro. Problem is, after their tires warm up, I cant keep up with the top three. And by that time my front tires are worn out and I have to pit after two laps (I think I used S2 tires, but the others apparently only pit like every 5-6 laps, and S1 tires aren't that much better) My lap times are around 8.25. Maybe it can't actually be done but I still want to optimize the car :)

Gears: Tranny trick, final at 3.600.

No LSD...when I set it low there's no difference, and if I set it high (default setting) it starts understeering more.
No driving "aids". There isn't really much wheelspin, except if I lose patience in 1. to 3. The rear end did snap a 180 at two occasions, once on the banked left turn before the straight. I guess its got something to do with the toe settings.
GT tuning is rather annoying, what with the apparently reversed effects of hardness and toe and all :crazy:

Yep. It pops up quite frequently. It's a nice little car for casual ring fun,
but fully tuned and racing slicks call for something extra for the setup...
 
Ok, I'll just wait for it to show up then. I like that kinda cars too.

Just to clarify, I'm primarily looking for advice on optimizing tire life. Trough tuning. I know my driving style is the main problem :crazy:
