(FGT2) Formula Gran Turismo Season 2 - IMMORTAL Takes Back To Back Titles!Open 

Is there an oval round here? I'd love to do an oval with the FGT as a one off, when will that be? I might want to reserve a spot just for that date but not for the whole series. I'm a bit tied up during summer.

That's because I took a six-month hiatus, and now he's all by himself. Since he's been racing those GT 300 so long I'm hoping I could get him to come over to this FGT Series.

Anyways I like to apologize for missing the Sunday test session, our American coverage of the Lamonts as fell off for the last two years, so I had to download the WEC/24H app & Fox sports go app which means I had to watch the race live. I'm from California so that means a lot of 4 AM to 9 AM watching, which led to me falling asleep on Sunday and not waking up to 2 PM.

Do we know when round one is taking place? By the way I'm threading through my Gmail account so I don't get to see the front page as easy...

yep Indy 500 19th September as it stands mate :)

Your more than welcome to make a one off appearance there. It will be used as our 1 Year anniversary race so hopefully will have a very big grid :) 👍

Thank god we're doing Indy 500, if Monaco is on there I'm goingvto back flip. Alot of people don't like it, but I love the challenge of Monaco!
 
Getting ready to start practicing for July races, but I tjink I better double check the race days & times.

Ok we're good. Could I possibly signed a TNT – 2000 to the second Mercedes FGT seat. I'm sending him a link to the Op now.

Were racing with ABS right? Just no TCS?

Grandvalley is the perfect test track for this car, it has every turn imaginable. These cars are easy to set up on a flat track, but the undulations of Grand Valley makes it nicely difficult. I'm having issues in the slow 2nd gear hairpins, and applying throttle through second and third gear. It feels good to have a car with enough power where I have to massage the throttle pedal instead of stopping on it, like with a GT3 Machine. I forgot to GT3's you push them through the turn but these babies lift and coast. I'm sure I'm going to be at the back of your grid for the first couple of rounds, but will be well worth it!

Test Session Day 2:

My last setting last night was money, I hit 1.30:xxx. I had to raise the rear by 5pts from the 45pts stock, and the rear damp/rebound is set back to 6/6 & stock 8/8 in the front. 7/5 on the sway bars still; brakes 5/4, (5/3 was trippin 4 some reason), and my main focus is the rear in cause of the constant rear end wrap around with the with the undulations of Grand Valley under Breaking & downshifting (gears 2 & 3), so I will continue down this road 1st until I'm happy with the rear end setup to meet the pretty stable front balance that I have so far. I haven't touched the DF yet, still running stockish springs too 17.0/17.0, LSD (5/8/5) for now.

Tomorrow I'm taking this puppy to 80's Monza to get a top mph # on this chassis for future data, and deep braking testing. I believe we can lock up at the 50m board if I'm not mistaken.

Like always, find all the Ross Brawn's Mechanical Grip I can 1st, then put on all the RedBull Adrain Newey's Aero DF on the car 2nd...

I'm signing on this after noon for a long session, but I won't be qualifying until next week. I'm off Friday so I'll put in another three hour practice session and then will look to qualify anytime Friday or Saturday. Right now I need a lot of seat time just to keep the car competitive with at least the back runners...
 
Is anyone testing Grandvalley tonight as it would be good to do some short races for fun and getting your eye in?

won't be tonight but i'll be on early tomorrow so we can have some laps and races before race start :)


Should be good. Davids showing his pics from last season on the forum. Let's just hope everyone turns up, if not, may give a non-alien a chance to win lol

I had found out last week from agro that tomorrow was independence day but he was happy to continue. initially the season was meant to start next week (never because of independence day as unfortunately I wasn't aware) but was brought forward as drivers who wanted the tests didn't actually turn up

So that means you guys are racing tomorrow? And if so, do you know the time of the race or qualy in either GMT or EST/PST?,. I live in PST timezone.

yes we will be going ahead.

I really don't know what to say really. I don't know how many times I've said about qualifying.. Race will start around 16:00EST 👍

Ok Think I may be able to pull this off tomorrow @ 16:00 tomorrow, even-tho its Cope De America and Independence Day tomorrow. Ok guys hopefully I see you guys tomorrow, I'm jumping online in 20 mins for some practice...
