I had the faster car so it was more me slowing up and making sure he stayed in my draft.. We were planning on a 1 - 2 finish so my main concern was getting him away from skeng. I was glad to see skeng get held up by Karsten the first stint, gave us a comfortable lead. Getting stuck behind you messed us up a bit though, skeng pretty much caught us.. You could've made up more time and saved gas following us. Good race. I really lost my rhythm for a bit after the pit stop. The different grip level was really messing with me. With 6 laps to go I adjusted and really put down some good laps. Monza is gonna Suck. I wish they would have weakened the draft after that race. Flanked and his RX7 are gonna be fast.

i fought my *ss off in the crazy idea that i could manage to hold on skeng whole race or pull away from him...
silly me lol. i did actually help out the brzs this way but it wasn't intentional. aimed for podium, got 4th; with such drivers is a luxury

I read something about the real draft was weakened with the update. Even though you had 10hp on me it certainly didn't feel like there was much draft at all. Which is great.

Just looking at the replay and I think PSN: T-N-T-2000 cane out of the white lines after coming out of the pits on lap 16 making me crash into him

Yea the weakened draft is really a good thing for serious racing. So is the change to weight and Hp increments. 1 instead of 10 so it will be easier to get closer regs for cars in the future. Now if they would just fix the tire bug

Just read something and tested it. When you change a room to tuning prohibited or you create a room that is tuning prohibited you can no longer use the power limiter. It won't let you on track and it defaults the car to max power when you check settings. Anyone else experience this? Was tuning turned off in today's race?

I just read the same thing. That is a serious issue for this series. May as well allow tuning since there isn't any way to check for it.. Good faith isn't good enough for me. HP and PP checks Is all we can do. May as well get to tuning the suspension and LSD. Somebody has to address this quickly. I don't see a way around it at all except to allow tuning.

I can only hope this is because there is another update to be released shortly which adds more options as host.
If the series goes tuning then I'm out. I can't tune for **** and joined this series as no tuning was allowed.
If this was a mistake im sure it can be corrected shortly but I can't imagine to many people are happy about this so hopefully it gets back to PD and they re add it in.

it was already tuning proihibited and people managed to use power limiter... No clue what you mean!

I don't mean to be vicicious in any way. But you don't really have to tune to much the rx7 handles so well. The gearbox might benefit

i'm totally lost coming to tuning and it would totally kill the point of the serie.
i'm yet to understand this supposed bug, we run tuning proihibited and all did manage to set their hps right and i checked with the new view before race.

Maybe if the room is already set and you load it from your save list it's ok? If not if you set it to tuning prohibited and people join it then kicks in? I had to add tuning prohibit whilst in the room.

You can still tune though if you restrict room to 320. Thats weird it worked for us maybe it hadn't taken effect yet or maybe if you already had a room save with tuning prohibited it wasn't affected by the update. I tested it when I read about it and it definitely doesn't let you use the limiter when you put no tuning.ah it's a non problem IT'S THE LOBBY SETUP THAT DOESN'T WORKi just setted it at 330 and checked everybody's hps.

Sounds like the room save hasn't been effected so as long as the room is loaded that way hopefully it will be fine.
