To make it short & sweet. I got hired for a job today starting tomorrow. I won't be around on Mondays anymore. It was nice racing against you all. Enjoy the rain lol.
 
I notice no complaints from Oz when he wins , lol

Karsten I would carry on with the weather rule but just go all dry for season 3.

I dont agree with mid season rule changes but Its your series , I can only suggest what I would like .

its such a shame, as its so great when it starts to rain then stops or dries out - i love that , but the floods we now have do make it a bit silly , for me anyways
 
I think that keeping on with the rules we have is a must to avoid destroying the championship rush....

we might try a slower weather change to see if it gets more gradual than this.

btw if people tell me their highlights i'll save an hour in the video making...
 
i had a great battle running hard fronts and soft rears from last position on lap 1 with poor skeng with no HP, then on laps 3 and also tnt to around lap 15 i went forward as others had crashes and ran out of tyres and got into the lead looking good at around lap 27 and had enough for another 20 laps then its started to rain and my strategy was messed up as i really thought i had this race won, stopping at lap 26 and 42 the with softs for the last stint.
anyway the rain came and at 35% i pitted for inters , and then again a few laps later for heavy wets , and even a pitstop by mistake at lap 35 as i had a sideways moment on the straight that threw me into the pit lane and a stop i never wanted or planned or needed and that was about that really. i was going round ok, but know that i was done for so i parked and watched you guys - fantastic how you keep it going in that weather for so many laps, you should get cash prizes
 
I'm truly sorry that i did not finish the race. Had looking forward to it, but issues with the pedal set, and way to much rl issues, had done so i didn't get any time for training. If i had some training i maybe could of kept the line in corners and not slide of track all time. I hope my rl issues will solve so i can spend the time i need to keep me on tarmark.
 
I think I probably complained the most about the rain but the more I drive in it the more I like it. If you learn to drive in the rain it will definitely make you a better driver and force you to learn patience.

@azidahaka Highlights: when I hit you on final turn was low 30's I think, I had 2 nice drifts on the last 2 laps coming out of the long left hand sweeper

@Stephen Vann you wouldn't have beaten me and roberte with that strategy ;) you had 20 laps to go and was more than 2 seconds slower during our battle... Or at least i think so lol

Oh yeah that scared the hell out of me, but nothing compared to logic stopping in panic position twice lol
 
seems pit glitch is gone!? and they added time so we can have time based endurance races :3

and even better they added keyboard commands to replays :)
 
Just tested the tire glitch at Apricot and WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO it's gone. There's hope for GT6 and btw the BMW Vision car looks nasty.

i read somewhere that having custom wheels on MR cars runes the handling because of a bug

That was an issue a while back where custom rims made all 4 tires the same width. On cars that weren't like that stock it messed them up a lot especially MR's since most have a wider rear tire. I'm talking about the physics in general, slow speed and lift off oversteer is way over exaggerated. MR's should understeer in those conditions because of the lack of weight on the front tires. In GT6 they almost instant spin in those type of corners.
 
Hi there guys, long time no see... If I can make it and if there will be a spot open can I join the Nurb24h race on monday on my old IMPREZA n.80?

btw why don't you make a full style comeback mate? ;) there's some spots free... Or you would wish to enter out of classification? This season we are running with a power penalties system too, give it a look and there's quite an exciting battle all along the field!

Plan already starting for S3 too ;)
 
I'd like to run out of classification just this one spot race using the impreza, if it's possible of course Karsten. Problem for me is that the time of the race has become too early in the evening for attending each monday...

Can you PM me your thoughts for S3?

I'm guessing that's still a 1-2months away?

Not been on meaningfully for ages it's seems (although popped on to do the GT Acadamy stuff) so I reckon I'll be back for S3.

By the time I've finished playing Watchdogs I'll be refreshed ready for GT6 then project cars :)
