[FGTA] Formula 1-SEE NEW THREAD!Finished

We've gotten below 0°C a few times, and it snowed last year! My city is known as being one of the coldest in the country come Winter. Usually we are in the 17-21°C range during this time, the minimums sometimes being 3-6°C.
63-70°F(17-21°C) in the winter?? With minimum in the winter being 37-42°F(3-6°C)?? If I'm understanding you right, thats so freaking warm man:lol:

Hey guys I'm interested in joining the series. Not sure if I will be able to attend all the races so I think I would be a reserve.

FGTA ANNOUNCEMENT
As it it becoming difficult to keep all the drivers coming and going on the OP of the FGTA thread ([link] please also watch thread), we would like you all to complete this form to confirm your commitment to the FGTA as a driver, it will only take a few seconds to complete.

NO FGTA DRIVERS OR OFFICIALS HAVE BEEN AUTOMATICALLY ADDED, SO ALL MEMBERS WILL NEED TO DO THIS.

We hope you never do, but, if for any reason you wish to have your name removed from the FGTA list, please complete this form.

Many Thanks.

:cheers::gtpflag:

I'd say a nice early summer day here in northern MN is about what Matheus described for his winter.

I'll be on today (thursday) I think around 8-10 PM EST for some practicing. Good to see the MN wild win today against CO, that's a sport I bet they dont have in Brazil.

Oh and it looks like we'll get a new F1 car soon (finally). The 85' Lotus should be just fast enough to solidly beat the FGT on our specs. I remember that car from Gran Turismo 3, this one should be better.

'A match made in heaven? No, a match that lights the fires of hell,
for if Immortal is really immortal this season will surely tell'

Built to win,
RTRacing has the hottest driver line-up on GTPlanet,
and our mission is simple:

Beat Immortalpilot.

Can it be done?

It is no easy feat to defeat Gran Turismo's most successful driver but we do not expect it to be.

We race for fun.

And the thrill of the chase, of hunting and being hunted.

Can it be done?

The boys at the junior team, RTRosso, think so.

Motegi.
FGT.
19/20 laps.
Arty in the lead.
TeamDBW in third five seconds behind.
Immortal sandwiched in between.
He is relentlessly quick.
We pushed him all the way.
Yes he won.
But we

Race Director Notes
Again, big thanks to all who attended. Of the drivers who didn't attend, @jamiebeech did not notify me. Some team changes: The new RTRacing line up is @DrAug and @Cb. @Cb, make sure you get the RED FGT to match @DrAug. @Weider joins @teamdbw at RTRosso. @rcb929 has joined as a reserve. Due to @merlinrichards withdrawing from the series, that leaves a spot open in my team for a new driver. The first race of the season will take place in 1 week at Motegi, a drivers brief will be released shortly. See you there.

I think the fastest lap was a bit quicker than 3:19...

Twin Ring is next, my most hated track as I find it insanely boring with all hairpins and no variety. It has that herman Tilke feel to it combined with every corner being the same genre, just different radius'... Japanese can do better than that, Suzuka was a good track.

Anways, @IMMORTALPILOT how about a thursday warm up race so I dont get smoked too bad on Sunday?

Oh and I thought this was kind of interesting: http://www.cyclingnews.com/races/tour-de-romandie-2014-2014/stage-5/photos/303645

Yes it was, you were in the mix too until you parked up to enjoy the spectacle!

Then of course, I personally had an amazing race at Motegi in your team for the EXTREME F1 season...

PREVIOUSLY AT MOTEGI
RTRacing.co Press Release

RTRacing is fighting for victories.

However the inter-team battle is the focus for the boys at RTRosso and they have form around Motegi.

Will the underpowered GP2 car suit Sir Arty's super aggressive style or Team's cool and consistent car control?

WE WILL DISCOVER.

17:40 EDT Quali start (GMT -4).

How much earlier do to and @Rich S need it? I'll see what I can do, because if I change the time, I need to make sure everyone can do it and knows. I wouldn't normally do this, but I know it is very late for a lot if you guys.

The problem with having it earlier is that some other drivers are running in other series before the GP2...I think this is the reason it's this late to begin with.

I would imagine it could be a tad earlier but as stiggy said need to let everyone know and make sure they can all make it. 👍

1hour earlier would be perfect , if it's not possible i don't mind!
1 hour and a half would be perfect for me. But I don't care if it starts later. I will be at Susuka no matter what time the race is.

What would you guys think about changing today's race, to next week(7 days from now)? There are a couple reasons for this: It would give us time to figure out if drivers could do it a little earlier. It would put this on alternate weeks with the WEC(I know we have some drivers in here that also race there). Plus, I feel that since today is Mother's Day, there will be some drop outs for today's race.
