Race Director Notes​
Again, big thanks to all who attended. Of the drivers who didn't attend, not one of you notified me ( @swiftsmith , @Squatch14 ). If I do not hear from you by before next race, I will assume you have lost interest and I will move you to the reserve drivers group. Overall, apart from the delays, I think the event went pretty well. A note to the drivers though: Guys, if at all possible, please show up sooner than 5 min before quali. We will be having a second Pre-Season race on April 27(Details about this will be released at a later date in a drivers brief). This is to make sure everything goes smooth in the actual season. Also, please note that we have removed the sprint race portion of the race event. Another rule change: there seems to be a problem with viewing the tire everyone is in while watching the replay. This makes it hard to determine if people are following the tire rule. Because of this, you will now have to only complete 1 lap on the hard tire(I will set the room regulations to require a tire type change). If you fail to use the hard tire, you will be disqualified from the race. @teamdbw You will need to pick a color that nobody is using, and a team name. Sorry for this taking so long, but that's what happens when nobody reports any incidents.

We need to make on the race one lap only with hards ? We can pit and make only one lap with hards? but how can you be sure all drive with hards with this when we make the last stint with mediums ?

Ok then, I might have to delete a couple friends to make space for those two you mentioned, I have a lot of old friends that I used to race with all the time that haven't logged on in ages, tough decision to make.
 
Well interesting track to run, I ended up in the sand a couple times and had to pit twice because of the pitlane chicane causing you to hit the gas right as the selection was coming up. :( That and a bit lonely with no one around me, immortal steaming off and the other cars behind seeming to have damage or accidents. That's okay though, I learned that I need to actually concentrate instead of driving off track like a trucker falling asleep on a long straight stretch of interstate. :lol:

Was a very fun race back here, tons of battling with @teamdbw @Glenalz81 @sickassasin87 and others. Crashed way to many times, but what can you expect when you only get half a lap of practice?:lol:

I'll try and get one up eventually. Man I'm getting sick and tired of spring weather in continental US, the last few years its just been :banghead:. We have this freezing rain and 40 mph winds constantly knocking power lines down. They got some tornadoes down south, but I'd honestly take that over our weather.

Your in Brazil?? It's very nice there, what is your average winter low there, well above freezing there I imagine. I would say 8 months out of the year here in MN: Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, March, April getting above freezing for a high is good, in Feb getting above 0 F or -17 C is a decent day. I imagine in your town its never been below 0 F ever, since the last glacial period perhaps 12,000 years ago.

We've gotten below 0°C a few times, and it snowed last year! My city is known as being one of the coldest in the country come Winter. Usually we are in the 17-21°C range during this time, the minimums sometimes being 3-6°C.
