False Start and Jump Start are different things. A False is like what Lando did, where you go early, stop and then go after the lights go out. Jump Start is when you go early and don't stop.

Both should be penalised. Jump Start a minimum of a Drive-Through and False start a minimum of +10 seconds.

Lando not getting a penalty for that is a joke.

Piastri vs Hamilton, Round 113.

edit: Finally... Lewis boxes. 😤

moar edit: Wow, the way Lando pulled away from Lewis... 😮

even moar edit: I forgot how he weaved around a bit earlier. Naughty. 😤

There are other cars
What HASS?
Yeah, lets put a rookie who is in the top 10 on his first outing and put him at the back of the grid or near back as Alpine has exclusive rights for the last two spots.

(ignoring the fact that there’s a Haas in the points right now)

Sure, why not. What’s the alternative? A third year in F2? WEC? Non-racing reserve until Lewis retires or someone else takes the Ferrari seat?

That Haas is in the points because of rolling roadblock Kmag.
Non racing reserve role, like Mick?

Podium places went about as expected. Congrats to Max on his 100th.

Too bad Sainz was out, but Bearman had a fine debut!

McLarens woefully slow with DRS. Piastri done did good. Lando being naughty with the start and some weaving. Decent points. Hopefully they do well in Australia.

KMag being a menace, but helping the team.

Forgot Ricciardo was racing.

Racing is better. Nothing wrong with learning in a backmarker. Didn’t do Russell any harm, or Leclerc, or countless others over the years.

Incredible how Formula Academy managed to get another driver to win, but F1 can't 🤣
What a performance by Ollie. Just simply wow. Someone needs to give him an F1 seat, especially if he wins the F2 this year
Only seat available will be either Haas or Williams, I'm afraid. Simply nowhere else to go. F1 be like that...

Howeverr...then there's 2026...

Yes, because an 11th team will not add "VALUE" to the sport.

The DRS on the McLaren is a bit useless
Can't argue with the result for Piastri but what an amazing achievement from McLaren to design a car that's basically as fast without DRS, as it is with it.

I think they borrowed from Polyphony whovever modelled the DRS on the likes of the DTM Audi - you open it up and nothing much happens.

At least they know the car works on the high speed bends - that was a great view from Lewis’ onboard cam as Lando zoomed off.

Yeah, the onboard from Lewis was insane, with how much Lando was able to gap him in the first sector. Hopefully they figure out the DRS pace at some point.
