hey guys, good to be back.
i'm IN although i couldn't practise.
 
I'll also just make a note that if the race is delayed more than 15mins I'll have to pull out, either will still race and leave time depending or not start at all, not sure which is better option points wise.

Fingers crossed the servers behave and we can start smoothly.

Please excuse my absence, I've been quite flat out juggling with work, the partner and GTPES qualifying this weekend.

I'm off to bed for sleep before the morning warm up. Cya tomorrow/tonight guys :).

Ok, i will host TTQ as normal, shall we get snake to host the race ? his connections seems fast and we had no issues last week with DCs and any delays tonight might see Pubs not race, ?
 
Sure, why not? we can test mine again at a later time. I pay extra since last tuesday for an "internet gaming" option that should grant faster overall performance, lower pings etc etc.

We'll test it along the week while we train for next round if enough people will be online :) For today, go SNAKE!

Threw in the towel. Congratulations to whoever snaps up the win.
Made a few mistakes since I was no longer 100% focussed knowing I wasn't going to be able to stay till the finish anyway, it's very distracting and gave up with the pointless catchup. Devoed because I found Daytona quite easy and I could've gained on a lot of people's mistakes it seems. Does everybody have a drop round regardless if they dc or not? Not sure what will happen in terms of my results with this since I was in the race to start..

Really not happy with the delayed starts, it's imperative that I'm able to get off the Sony by 2105GMT at the latest or I'll be late to work.
I know it's nobody's fault, this is a network and a flawed lobby system it seems lately, but I dunno, something needs to be done to ensure we can start within 10mins at least of the start time.

I'm truly devastated and demotivated.
So not looking forward to Le Mans in the rain.

Sorry to hear mate, but i'm more down then you i swear :P

Seems the extra i payed for my connection is actually a deal for we had flawess race when i hosted... So i guess from next week i'll be host again in hope all will go in place fast. I've thrown 4th mate T_T my eyes betrayed me before half an hour and the last 20 mins i couldn't take a corner apex...
 
Great race tonight everyone, I really enjoy racing in this series because its great to be part of such a fun but yet professional (relatively speaking because it's gaming lol) atmosphere. Tonight was a really good race for me, I knew from practice that my race pace was good but my one lap pace wasn't that special. At least to beat Agro's time in qualifying my best on that setup was a 43.3 but I wasn't able to get that in quali. I became a bit suspicious about a certain setup element though lol that was obvious on the straights through split times that I didn't have, so I changed it and in a couple of laps I was able to get a high 42 full fuel in practice. I wish I had known that earlier on in the season so I've been at a slight disadvantage in car performance so far. It was a massive bluff to say in the lobby that I meant to get P2 though lmao, just kinda messed up my qualifying and lucky to get a good lap in right at the end to just snatch 2nd from DK :P

EDIT - Great first race btw DK!

Race was good, had a brilliant fight with Agro for a few laps. It took me a couple of laps to get familiar with my setup and warming up tyres so I made a couple of mistakes running wide and had to hold Agro off by taking defensive lines. Once that was sorted out I was able to pull away and control the race looking after tyres and fuel, so it was relatively boring after that. Got to the point that I was looking forward to catching up with other cars to lap lol, Snake was the most fun/challenging though. He done a great job holding me up at the bus stop to let Agro gain a second or so on me. I need a team mate to do that for me lol! any takers? I'm still an independent team :(

Looking forward to the next one though, sad that we're half way through lol I don't want the series to end! My highlights were with Agro at the start, I made a pretty decent move at T1 to take the lead :P and we battled for a few more laps after. I had to be very careful to not overtake Agro before the start line, but I checked the replay and it was safely after :scared:

Pretty happy with my record so far though, 4 wins out of 7 and two 3rds and one race that I missed because of uni :/ I'm sure Logic and Karsten have a plan to try to stop that soon... :( :lol: but it's been good so far :D
