On Friday, the 1 week til race mark, I will turn the 3rd post into a driver's briefing post, I will give info on the track, race structure, etc. If there is anything special you would like for me to add to the briefing, let me know by Thursday.
Also during that time, I will require that ALL drivers re-confirm that they can attend the race, To re-confirm, simply tell me that you can make it, I shall do this just to make sure people don't forget :P

I'd like to sign up for this single event if you guys don't mind.
However, my attendance will depend of my tiredness as the race starts at 1am my time. Don't worry, i'll post in the thread to confirm or unconfirm.

PSN: GTP_Litchi
Car: Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 Team RJN

EDIT: I Just re-read the OP and the room opens at 1am my time, thought it was the race. Actually, the race starts 1 hour later, which is 2am for me, definitely too late :(.

Sorry for my misunderstanding.

I'll tell you once I will start to practice for the FIA GT3 Series 👍
Well, I know what times people should be getting, from when we did Motegi in the WGTC, but I want to know what people are actually getting;)

tire wear off, I was trying to maintain the lap time very low, then I got this time. Is it good?
With fast tire wear, your tires begin degrading at about 5 laps and they will slow your laps. Having too many practice laps with no tire wear may make your car seem much faster than what your race pace and qually times may be.

Plus, maybe your setup won't work correctly with tire wear on if you practiced with tire wear off. Better to practice in the race conditions in my opinion.

You should practice with tire wear on fast since that's what you'll be racing with. With tire wear switched off, your lap times are about 2 seconds faster than with tire wear on. So I'm guessing you'll be in the mid 48s with tire wear. Also, as said above, different tire wear setting require different setups.

Unfortunately, I will have to withdraw from the event. I have a Pool Party to attend that evening. Wish I could race, see you guys at a future event.

No problem @rcb929, I'll keep you on reserve it you become free.

Also, I am pleased to announce that @Ameer67 will be recording our event to put it on his youtube channel. I have worked with him in my past event the Mazda Apricot 100.
Would he like a job in the FGTA? I will try not to give him too much work  does he know how to livestream a race?

Unfortunately, no. My capture device (AverMedia C281) doesn't allow that. It works by saving the footage to an external storage device.

*whiplash*

Hope he can record the replay this time, he only managed to get 15 minutes of the Apricot 100. Missed some good action by yours truly.
I think it was some odd technical issue that kept him from seeing the rest of the race.

Basically what Mr. B said. I was recording the video to my external hard drive but it decided to stop. Well, another 500GB HDD is sitting here waiting for some action.

He has no choice, he is our new slave :P

I heard some money was involved...

(There's no money)
