Series Update
​

The Global Sports Car Championship now has new regulations!

We are continuing with our multi class structure! Group A has been quite successful, and will remain the same with our GT1 regulations. There are still spots in this class that are open.

Announcing that Group B will now be a one make spec series class. All of Group B will now be in Nissan Silvia S15 Touring Cars! Great racing for under Cr. 170,000!* We are looking to get newer drivers to online racing, and some of the more experienced drivers in the series will provide base tunes for this car (will be available soon). But this class is open to anyone who wants a good, hard race!

(*that includes the necessary upgrades)

We have also added three rounds to the championship with the new regs! The changed calender will now look like this:

Silverstone (July 10)
Spa (July 17)
Red Bull Ring (July 24)
La Sarthe (July 31)
Laguna Seca (August 7)
Fuji GT (August 14)
Motegi (August 21)
Bonus Event: Nurb. 24h (August 28)

(dates subject to change)

Qualifying starts at 10:30 pm EST USA (GMT -4). Everything else about the series will stay the same. All new drivers are welcome to join! Hope to see you out there!

The single event will have 2 cars,
2 races will be held on 1 track,
if you use car #1 in first race then you must use car #2 for second race.
Both race times will be added together for final result.

Since the ralt f3 serie is going nowhere, do you guys think that a ferrari f430 challenge serie would suit gtplaneters better?

I thought of no tuning no assist beside abs and running on confort softs...

Should suit the hop in and just drive guys thata seems to be the biggest part of the forum?

I'll make an interest check on the ferrari challenge and keep the FGTA updated in case it takes off

Caine (Tim), and Glen did good enough in the UK Facebook GT Academy challenge, so they get to go compete with the other top finishers from the Facebook challenge for the top 6(or 8) spots. If they are in the are in the top 6 (they are in 1st and 3rd, with 1 round to go), they advance to the GT Academy National Finals.
