Guys i fininshed playing GT, these disconnections are going on my nerves, i can't drive like that, sorry. Thanks for these races, i really enjoyed driving against such a professional, fast and really fair guys. đź‘Ť :bowdown:

That's a shame, only 3 races left :( In my opinion you should stay, dare I say it, servers have seemed a little more stable recently and it would be a shame to see you drop out and waste all the effort you have put in. We give everyone 1 DC restart, so don't worry about it, plus, I don't think we will have a restart like at Bathurst again if that's what you are worried about.

That is a great shame :( although I do agree with Caine here, we are so close to finishing the season.

Your call, just will be a shame to lose a great like minded racer, been a pleasure to have you racing with us and of course, if you ever start with GT again, you will be more than welcome in any FGTA series đź‘Ť

I'll be a little bit late. There's a good chance I'll get disconnected again 'cause my internet still isn't fixed yet. If I do disconnect don't restart the race - it'll take me too long to get the internet back on.

You won't be allowed to qualify (obviously) but can start at the back, race starts in 50 min đź‘Ť
 
Had a decent race in the ill handling GTR, pretty happy with 4th when I was expecting a 6-8th place finish. The tyre wear sucks on this car and if it had better tyre wear then 2nd place could have been possible. Also, that was the last race for me this season.

I'm shi*. PURE SHI*. Went for the same strategy as in Spa and got screwed the same way as in Spa... :banghead::banghead::banghead: I don't know what to say, all I know is that all my WGTC races (except Bathurst) were a complete disaster :ouch: My season in WEC and this season here are different like day and night, and I don't know why... I may be in Division 1 at WRS but I feel like a piece of shi* in the Z4 :ouch:

Well, I'm hoping so much that season 2 will end better for me, but I can't imagine it judging by the pace we have; Just take Caine in this race or Ninners at Spa, they were 1-2 seconds faster than me PER LAP. :yuck:

Man, I was going so well on the first start. 7th to 3rd, I couldn't believe it!! Unfortunately, right on the second start things went downhill. I already did a horrible take off by skipping a gear, then I wobbled around everywhere, and finally lost it a couple of laps later.

The tyre wear on this track is horrible to manage, I was down to 2/3 on the front and 4/4 on the back before my second stop. But that's how it goes, win some, lose some. At least I think I got up a few steps on the standings, and I'm satisfied with 3rd on AM.

Congrats to @rcb929, some incredible consistency and speed there.

EDIT: if my calculations are correct, I'm still 5th on the championship. :yuck:

I can't comment on the wear of the GTR, but I managed a 1'56.1 on RS's in it within a few laps so with the right setup, pace is there. Shame you can't finish the season, but thanks for joining for a few races, been good.

Don't take it to heart, at the end of the day it's only a game, and we play it to have fun. Some races go well, some bad. Just keep working at it.

I'm really not looking forward to Monza, this win will hurt there! And Nurb, I have to say, you are probably favourite for that one! It's not over yet!
 
I'm happy to be returning to an actual race track next round. I like Ascari, but it's not made for serious championship races like these.

Unfortunately it's just a game, yeah :D I always hang into it way too much, but I can't change that. I always pray of consistancy but in the end I never manage a race without a mistake, and that's the most important thing in racing. Regarding to the season I will be somewhere at the back, even if I finish well at Nurb.. Well, maybe it's better not to expect too much from the race, then you can concentrate better and if you fail, you're not gonna freak out the way I did :D
Let's see what the last 2 races will be like...
 
I hadn't actually done any laps here until yesterdays test session so I didn't spend enough time refining the setup for this track.
 
Turns out im quite good at Ascari, double win in ITCC and this win. My race went well, managed to gain 2 places by the restart. But got caught out at the restart and lost a few places. Good battle with nin + merlin at the start, but once clear it was a matter of hunting down RS + mike. Just about managed to hang onto them. I made a mistake on my first stint on the RS's and picked up engine damage, so had to pit early, luckily for me mikey made a mistake also, leaving RS out infront. The next stint was pretty much flat out to try and close the gap to RS. I knew he still had to run the RM's so i had time to play with, quite how i managed to pull over 1 minute gap im not sure as the 2nd half of my final stint i just focused on bringing it home without making a mistake.

Either way, dead chuffed with this result, i put alot of practice in for this round and it certainly paid off. I think im more happy with the fact i only made the 1 mistake, i'll need that at the next two races if im going to challenge stiggy's lead.
 
I'm gonna put some real practice on this next round, I'll even make a pit strategy and all. I wasn't taking these races too seriously, since I was planning on doing only these 2 before ToCA. But now I'm really going for the win on Monza and possibly Green Hell.
