SERIES DIRECTOR NOTES

As the season is now drawing to a close, things are really heating up in the PRO championship, seemingly we are heading towards a championship that will not be decided until the final race.
It has been a great shame that we have not had more dedicated AM drivers, but even that championship is wide open and any of the top 7 drivers are still in with a shot of taking the AM drivers championship and being promoted into the PRO class for next season.
Even the teams and manufacturers titles are wide open, any team can take the team title and only Nissan is out of the manufacturers title chase, due to their early season struggle trying to find drivers for their cars.

A huge thanks to all the drivers that have got involved to make this series possible and good luck to all in the final chase for the titles.

Well from the looks of things Kamikaze Racing has lost its pro driver. I don't mind taking the pro seat but, what about my AM teammate?Also, I pretty sure that I won't be there for Nurburgring but I'll try to make it to Monza (a.k.a. my BEST track).

Technically this is the 2nd season. But the first with this format and these cars. 'Last season' saw a showdown for 2nd place in the drivers standings at the final round.. in which RS managed to overtake and pip me to 2nd.

That's quite a quick time you have there! The fastest time recorded in the GTR at season 2 specs (30kgs lighter and 22bhp more) so far is a 1'41.3... average time at S2 specs between me, Mike, Glen, Merlin and Stiggy is a 1'41.9.

Just checked back through pre-season testing logs for this season and we were averaging 1'44's, occasionally dipping into the 43's.... So either we are missing something or you are doing something wrong!

Yup, only done a few practice laps so far, 43.9 in the sls with only a few tenths left...i aint gonna be hitting 42's in the merc....maybe a 43.5...at a push..with race settings.
