And risk starving to death when i go to uni as the money i would spend on food i would spend on insurance?

Read up in some good car magazines,not online,they mostly advert's or guide's...ive been reading road car mags all me life so look there,or maybe a club forum too for problems the cars suffer from,owners wont lie.
My first car was a 1972 ford falcon on its guts with cut springs and pirreli snow tyres on the front,it was only a 250 ci 6 but was fun driving around calders 1.6k Nascar track 24 degree banking,i thought i was going to roll over when i atempted to stop,but aborted that idea and got out of there before i got caught:tup:

SM- New tracks are good but I am reserving my elation until I see it, I just hope they give us a usable race track (and the hallowed patch of course).

PB- Even if it was a bit of a banger the 72 Falcon was a beautiful machine mate. Unfortunately in this country we are normally cursed to FF euro boxes for our first cars. No race tracks for me when I was younger, just the public road and the local foolsball pitch

Man i hope you can use that banked course like daytona instead of the last test course where it just stopped. But i really hope it comes with an infield so it can be nominated as an FGTC round.

For my first car I'll probally look for something under £1000-£2000 depending on how much cash I have at the time. I will probally go on my parents insurance as I probally won't be able to afford it whilst at college.

Ok guys, the time has come to talk about what to do about sundays race. The way I see it I have a few choices and they are all going to upset somebody.

Choice 1- We run 2 separate rooms based on the leaderboard top 8 in one and bottom 8 in the other. In the top room we award full points 1-8 and the other gets half points 1-8. v-2

Choice 2- As above but we award 8th-16th position points for room 2. v-1

Choice 3- Postpone the series until after the update. v-0

Choice 4- Retire from racing and become turnip farmers. Seriously though please pick 1, 2 or 3 so I can decide what to do.

I like number 1 as it will give the guys lower down in the table a few extra points and seems fairest to the top 8.

Let me know what y' all think.

Option 2 where the 8-16 places are awarded 8-16th points is the best bet.... although there are some who are outside the top 8 who are damn good. Isn't immortal outside the top 8? EDIT: he's 14th I guess. One more race though and he'd of leap frogged up into top 10.

Hmm, I vote for choice 3, and I would love to see a head to head with that guy who thinks Pageys slow, we could all join in and coast round ahead of him

EDIT: I would have voted for 4 because it would be a lot easier than earning our turnips by racing, but you have to work for some things in life
