What do we think for season 3 guys. 12/13/14 with or without reserves? I am not sure what to do

Well if you do cut down on drivers, any of you guys are always free to do a Nigel Mansell and jump ship to IndyCar. Would be a pleasure 👍

If we do I gotta work out who is going, it will be on seniority I guess.
It doesnt look like Flood, Smithaz is carrying on, Electric has retired and Babalulu didnt turn up for the enduro's so thats 4 out of 18 gone already. Unless I hear from them ill start there I guess

I agree, it should be done on seniority, so everyone who signed up for season 3 that have been here since season 1 should be guaranteed a place.
That takes us up to 11 drivers, then looking at drivers new in season 2 Spurgy and mustard have completed the most races. That makes 13 and is a sensible limit??

Oh and on Spurgys profile it says his best finish is 3rd, but he came 2nd today you should be very thankful for that second place Spurgy

Ill do it like that but will check who out of S1 still wants in as I am really not sure about Flood having the game.

Ill sort the profile bit out tomorrow, it wouldnt be me if I didnt make a mistake here and there

12 cars seems to be the highest realistic number without major issues. I believe the people who race here should be based on rankings in the seasonal standings. This is fair because seniors have had a long time to accumulate points. Its a tad unfair to new comers but I dont know of any newbies that wont be top 12 by the end of S2.

My Race Report:

I didn't notice slow down but in hind sight I think there was some on lap 1. I kept it smooth & Pagey stayed behind me on turn 1 which helped our momentum. Heading onto the banks there was only 4 of us left in the lead group. Immortal got by Pagey, than made a look at me going into the chicane. I slowed way down to give him room but he stayed behind me confusing me. I then clipped the grass, flung through the chicane & was passed by the entire group putting me in last.

I moved back up through the field only to run into Sandman who was able to race me by drafting. I panicked, ran head on into the titanium-platinum-bulit proof-armoured tire barrier and came to a complete stop in less than 1/1000 of a second. By the time I got going again I was 36 seconds behind immortal. The tire wear from the crashes cost me another 10 seconds. I've calculated that with no mistakes I could have finished less than 20 seconds behind immortal. Even so, he was quite quick. Not as impressive as Sandman's Monaco run but still fast. I struggled to hold off pagey but managed, when Sandman faded his pace seemed to back off, Spurgey was just ahead.

I disagree. I think it woiluld be more unfair for people to go if they are not the fastest. It would stop being enjoyable then. Take electric or skate for example. Bret would never ask them to go. But someone who has had one race and although came in per say the top three, wouldn't mind having to step down.

And.plus I have had an iffy season so I don't want to go im trying to get turnip points and everything

It would be based on seniority simply because a good few of the older drivers have moved on which opens up spots for the newer drivers and I cant turn around and ditch people based previous results. Its hard to explain to someone who cant see why it is wrong to do that.
I will be speaking to flood over the next few days and willcome up with a list of 12 people for season 3 after Fuji.

Fixed, and sure I could. If I practice and tune like I do at the start of a season (maybe not Nurburg)

Still a lot of pressure though Should be a close finish! Im hoping to catch ETID and SM for 4th, I caught them by quite a bit in that last race, so should be an exciting end to the season. Also my connection was fine, I think it main have just had a bad period, its does that sometimes

Well I'd like to see immortal in S3. There's certainly some clever ways berty can go about getting a good roster of players, so I'll let ya'll decide rather than go up against everybody.

Then tell me how I can ditch people I know well and have raced with for about 8 months for someone who has had a few races?

Seniority is just the fairest way IMO, I don't think someone who has completed 2 races should be given a place over someone who has completed 10 times as many.

We have a good roster of senior drivers, a very good mix that have produced some really good races

Its decided anyway, ill come up with a list soon.
Just been practising and tuning and its quite amazing what 45 minutes can give you in terms of pace.
I set a time with a standard set up, tuned the LSD and suspension gained roughly a second. Then tuned my gearbox and gained another second and finally tweeked the LSD and suspension to gain another second
I dont want to say my time but it is 3 seconds faster a lap than last time I was here consistently
Maybe I should have practiced for daytona after all, now for a pit strat!

Ok SM I think the gaps at around 15, so if I come 3rd at the next race which is my average, Ill have a 7 points lead going to nurb, so it will be interesting Just did a 1.10.579 and I think im done for the day lol.

SM- Shame you cant make it mate. I had a 45 min practice earlier and hit some sweet times. Practice 2 tomorrow to try and shave off a bit more time

Spurgey- I havent got to the point where I am taking risks yet so no spins so far but Ill try really pushing it tomorrow.

Yeah its a shame, especially as my connection now seems to be more stable, i just had a disasterous first half of the season!
