This isn't formula 1 between the years 2005-2008.

The discussion about SRF has been repeated many a time, and would have been acceptable when the FGTC was founded. But almost a year on, with 30 or so races with some incredible intense racing, with countless wheel to wheel battles, and being one of the most successful and popular series on GTP......well that kind of speaks for itself. It works. End of.

Pagey sums it up well so we can leave it there (I hope). I think S1 was 16 races and S2 17 including the exhibition. Dont forget some sweet shorter practice races too, Ill go for 70 as a final number

Everyone- I am going to try and have a run around madrid tonight if you fancy joining me. It will be about 8pm. Sandman, I havent had time to tune yet and am hitting 1.01.low. If you can help with a setup it would be appreciated 👍

Andy your point is my point but I slightly accepted the SRF on thingy

I started the first season with all aids off. I wasn´t near competitiveness but I killed Barrichelo´s Real Life Lap-Record at Indy Road and that with all aids of and very old Tire wear (pre 2.00 clearly ).
[I´m still nt Competitive but that´s a different story ]
Above is my reason why to "bann" the aids. But there is also a reason to keep SRF and the other aids:
Tire-Wear !!

You have to use mediums once in the race, thats all

In a race you must use two types of tyre. It is reccomended that you use racing softs and mediums. So in a race, if you did a 3 stopper it could be RM-RS-RS. Doing RS-RS-RS in a race would get you disqualified.

Rich- Should have gone for saturday mate, our races are only an hour normally though so you should make it.

Indy- Ellis put it perfectly 👍 You can use any combination of RH/RM/RS as long as you change compounds at least once.
