It's a bit crap that the Americas final is on a Wednesday - work will prevent me (and no doubt many others) from watching live. Doesn't it also make it difficult for the competitors with the travel and everything?

Considering the track and the type of vehicle that the Raptor is, the question must be asked...

With or without track limits?

Willow doesn't need track limits. It's surround by the dirt of death.

Would be cool to see some rallying with the trucks, but better for it not to be official. Just for fun.

I mean, Sarthe No Chicane is basically the dream track considering I can make a sandwich, write a 3000 word report, clean the flat up a bit, cry, eat the sandwich and rebuild my computer all before getting halfway down the Mulsanne Straight
Boo. Hiss.

Nuh uh, I've known the location for quite a while now and I've been really good so far, you aren't getting any clues out of me!

I'll give you a bold prediction though, you'll find out where it is... sometime within the next month  /s btw

Mind blowing I know, but you must understand I am absolutely done with predictions after saying I'd do a 6 hour SambaBus race if Fuvaros didn't win at the EU Regional so its all you're getting :P

Speaking of which, I need to get on setting that up because the Brits won't let me live that down :indiff:

I am sorry for that mate :D

Pads are not going to be allowed.
Why would they allow pads at Tokyo but not at Vegas smh. I recommend doing what I unintentionally did. Drive like a D rank on the wheel so that they have no choice but to provide you with a pad, lest the showcase of the games elite be undermined by the T-GT noob getting lapped.

Monaco seems a bit out of place. I guess its possible but are they not just confusing the prize giving with the world final?

I guess we will find out soon enough.
Confirmation: english version. Booohhh 👎👎👎👎 I can't stand Monaco (not the circuit): it's the opposite of what I think a GT event should be (popular, festive, close to its fans...)

FIA President Jean Todt said, “Certifying virtual races is something that is completely new for the FIA, and it has been very important to ensure that the system for these competitions is fair and reliable. The use of simulators is a key part of any professional driver’s training, and the increased accessibility to high-level simulation technologies is positive for our sport. We have a unique opportunity to reach and inspire millions of potential new fans, as well as discover bright new talents, and I am looking forward to seeing the outcome of the World Final in Monaco.

Looks confirmed then.

I had realised the error of my ways earlier when after posting this I looked up where the FIA prize giving is this year. Clue: Its not Monaco.

Monaco is worth a visit. Only those looking to avoid the tax man actually live there though.

Location in Monaco would mean using the according GP circuit.
Using in the final a track where overtaking is not possible wouldn't be the smartest move I guess.
