Even if you would just pull the plug?
Yeah, most people can't pull a plug and keep their car on the racing line

When you DC your car will just keep going with 0 input, if you pull the plug, there will be a small time where the car will continue with the wheel shaking or in a dead straight line (for DS3 users).

Exactly :D

In both circumstances drivers should proceed to the grid to ensure all stewards and the race director has taken note of laps completed and driver positions :D
So for a race restart everyone lines p on grid does a stewed has to exit track to get laps and times and stuff? Then what does. Everyone exit track and they set laps to amount left?

Or you can have your PS3 attached to a power bar with switch lying conveniently next to your pedals. I know I'm playing devil's advocate here but there is some potential for abuse.

The replay will have all the information like times etc, just the driver order. Then once all stewards and the race director is happy, drivers are then asked to drop off track, the host the changes any race settings for the restart to pick up where you left off (race time, weather etc)

I guess there are some situations where people could get away with it, but most wouldn't bother trying, and they would only get away with it once, after that, I at least, would click on, lets face it, if a driver only ever DC's at a very convenient time for them, that's a little suspicious

Wouldn't I be A suspicion then because both endurance races I got dc'd with about 5-10 minutes left

Congrats to Flying Chipmunk for doing the double!

With regards to everything being discussed regarding settings, DC's etc...whatever is decided can we make sure that next time whomever is hosting is aware of the room settings and has the room sorted before we are due to race?

These late starts are killing me, I have to be up at 04:30 the next day! :indiff:

I second this. Me and Litchi are even an hour later.

Very true. I am thinking more of that one championship deciding race.

I am on to you Cod. :odd:

I told Cod that he was lagging across the track in front of me before the race started and he told me to leave and come back like it was me that was lagging.
If a person is told they are lagging, then they need to listen. You need to fix your connection Cod. You getting DC'd was bound to happen.
Now for the other complaint. Way to much dirty driving from the drivers at the back of the pack. If it keeps up, I'll start driving the same way.

I will look into the replays tonight. But this goes to all drivers: Please make sure to report incidents to me @CodDemon101 or @Litchi.

Ouch!

No disrespect to the organisers but last night was a joke, we literally had all day for the host to get the settings for the room (host was online and in practice room) and we are waiting past the race start time for room to be sorted and the settings to be confirmed.

Also, some people need to realise that when they are being lapped (not once, but twice) by a much faster car, they shouldn't be trying to defend their position or race the lapping car...

Yes there was problem with blue flags. I was behind one driver I will not say who but they know who they are for about 2 laps and they defend enough to get me off track. They have nothing to defend RESPECT BLIE FLAGS DRIVERS

Yes this needs to be sorted out. As I posted yesterday we should also open the room well before 4PM EST as we do have reoccurring connection issues and it would give us extra time to sort them out.

Sorry man I got disconnected before race even happened though. I have xfinity I don't know how I can make it better any advice?

When will the official results be posted?

I DC'd more than halfway through race 1 in 6th place, where does that leave me for points?

Im open to hosting, however Sunday is my day with my girlfriend so I take time out to be with her, if im going to host I can't be dealing with late starts, restarts etc, so its up to you guys. Also if you are using wifi and having dc issues (which cod no offense but you were lagging super hard at the start), please try hard wiring i garuntee itll fix 90 percent of your issues.

When I used to use wifi id dc over half the time, now it never happens

I could host without a problem. We didn't seem to have any problems the last time around except for Pip but during testing yesterday he could connect without any problems.
I seemed to have a problem with Litchi, whenever he joined I got DC'd and couldn't join while he was in the room, when he left at the start of race 2 I could join and had no probs after that.

Oh yeah, definitely get a wired connection. At least have it plugged in for the races.

I will host the next race then. I will open the room at 3:15 PM. Reg check 4:25 and quali will start at 4:30 as normal no matter what. Plenty of time for everybody to connect.
