Well time for a team report
AMS Motorsport Team report:
Going into Spa we knew where we stand and we have massive improvements to make. Spa for my is almost like my home track. It's my favorite track to watch races on and when GT5 added this track. It was a home for me I test, race, and show case all my cars on this track. I knew this track would suit me extremely well especially if it got a little wet and track conditions changed, which is what I was hoping for :lol:. Was hoping during the two week break that I could test with my teammate but we were never on psn at the same time lol. Going into the weekend I knew I had a car that can get me at least a top 5 result and maybe even a win. However, when ever I tested my setup in a lobby by myself I can run in the 2:14s but in any other lobby I would be running high 2:15 and 2:16s. Same set up, and same track configurations. I don't know what it was but I guess I'm use to setting fast lap times when I'm by myself lol. Qualifying went as plan qualify mid pack and push for a top 5. However, after turn 1 everything went down hill. Went on the outside and lost 2 positions and never gained them back. Fought with @buddie racers and @racefan88 for a while. Then decided to pit 2 laps earlier than everyone at the 30 minute mark which worked out perfectly gained around three positions I believed and gained 30 seconds on the leaders it was looking good. Then got somehow got stuck in pit lane and their goes my race. The sprint race starting in second brought hope. I knew if I could get out in front then I would be competitive. Lead 3 laps and pulled from the field for a bit. Had CodDemon101 and @buddie racers on my heels. Then it was @CodDemon101 and me had a BMW 1-2 for awhile. Then @pyrates come up from behind I knew he was quick. Found myself at 3rd with 5mins to go and I over braked at the top of the hill lost two spots but kept with @racefan88 and @Brutaka for the sprint to the finish line. Overall I think it was a good weekend.

Sweet:P how long was our battle it was quite a while correct? I don't know about you but when someone is behind me by a couple seconds I start to over think what will happen:) did you think I was going to catch you?:P I'm just curious. When did we have our battle like 10 minutes into the race correct?

Three laps maybe that you were behind. Then I over shot the last corner, lost the lead, but followed you for about three laps and yes I sometimes over think about who is behind me but I tune it all out. :lol: As soon as I noticed that I was pulling away from the pack I though "The other drivers are being held up by someone so it's my chance to pull away as much as I can.":P Honestly, I did think you were going to catch for sure but I just said "If he does catch you hit your marks and keep your line" our battle was like 5-10 minutes into the race. It was extremely fun but I did notice that I lost most of my time going through eau rough. However, I clawed my time back through sector two. :P

Hahaha :P my favorite part of the track is sector two because that is when you are closest to the driver in front on the whole track and there are some good passing opportunities there

Just accept it:rolleyes:

You need to be 18 to advance to the finals, not to just do the round.


For example, the top 28 in the US advance to the national finals. I am currently in 13th place, but since I'm only 15, I can't advance to the finals. No big deal.

Don't worry about it, just accept it.

to advance does only the final round count. Or do you need the best average of all four to advance?

Rounds 5 & 6​
Penalties:

- CodDemon101:
3 points for non repect of points 06:A & 07:A from the GTP OLR.

- RodeRunner1967:
2 points for rage quit.
1 point for abusive language on the forum + multiple use of the chat during the Endurance race.

Leaderboards will be updated accordingly.

Warnings:

- CodDemon101:
Crossing of the pit exit white line.
Non respect of the track limits

- SSJGZWarrior:
Crossing of the pit exit white line.
Dangerous driving at the Bus Stop in the Sprint race.

Drivers who receive warnings have to be careful. They will be observed more carefully in future races. They are subjet to instant penalties next time they are found guilty of any incident.

Stewards notes:

- Please be patient in the first few laps of an Endurance Race. That will avoid that kind of review that we had to sort out.
- Stewards David and Will are not above the law. If you find them guilty in any incident, feel free to report. They will be sanctioned in a fair and impartial manner.
- If you want to report any future incident, please use this form. It will be added in the OP for an easy search as soon as possible.
- 1Lambofan and Drifterboy77 are still under investigation because the stewards suspect a volountary disconnection.

At least you can do it in the future, I don't know if I'll ever have one!
