I came to the series in '97 and thought exactly the same. It was that game which got me into F1 actually. I remember picking the silver car 'cause 'it looked cool'... turned out to be Mika Hakinnen's McLaren who then went on to win two back-to-back World Championships lol. Murray's commentary was pretty cool as well iirc. And I always remember Martin Brundle giving a lecture on how not to be 'tense with the car, that way it slides that little bit less'... Stuck with me to this day
That reminds me, I have F1 2013 collecting dust on my shelf. Bought it, did the driver training (I think I didn't even complete it) and shelved it ever since. Got to play it some time.

Yeah. I was counting with today for training. I messed up my setup with training offline than online. Would restart from scratch today and now this... Well, I think I won't be racing today even if the servers come back on-line.
