I just love how I spent a ton of laps practicing and Skeng shows up and steals the show on a pop up. Much power to him I wish I had instant speed like that. Anyways I found some pace and made a charge forward, but I had a person pass by my TV screen before turn 4 and after I blew that turn the pack behind me caught up and I got punted once at he corkscrew and then after regaining composuer I got punted again. At that point I was so frustrated that I miss my pit window and then I ate thru my tires. This is a rhythm track so once rhythm was broken it was a wrap. I should of man'ed it out like I did at Jstc I could of still placed where I qualified over all at the worst. On the up side I only lost 10 potential points so ill bounce back at the next round.

-I will be implementing a front fender rule for the remainder of the season. When going into a turn whomever has the front fender going into the turn has the right away. There was way too much nudging and walk cars up the track today. Were just getting started so I understand that we need a couple of rounds to get use to the cars & drivers but some rules will help us figure it out with the less incidents possible. I'm not worried about the big tracks but these small courses or even better narrow course take some give & take from both drivers. I actually complete a outside pass on TnT because he left room. Thanks man for not putting me in the dirt! 👍

That's a great idea Joe. I had a couple of instances where I was just behind going into a corner so I backed off. But on the flip if I was in front coming in, I'm not sure who it was, but they would try and run the inside and nudge me. I got put on to the dirt at one point and came on behind you Joe! Don't know if you saw it, corner before the corkscrew

Thanks again guys, was a great race, and I'm quite happy with where I ended up finishing! Better than last in the last round!

I like the variety of cars you guys have .

At first i planned on doing a 2 stop and ran a very long first stint but my second stint i killed the tires quicker than i thought so I was switching to a 3 stop .

Ill try to race with you guys again but I dont think ill be a regular til probably your next season .

I saw you pit earlier on your 2nd stint. That was cool for me because i went shorter on the first stint, but a good deal longer on the second. Once I pit the 3rd time I knew from there it was either me or you. I figured you would do 3 stops when you short pitted for the 2nd stop.

No worries Skeng this is a no commitment series; we have a solid 8 to 12 drivers that are going to battle it out to the end but the extra 4 to 6 grid spots are for random drivers whom want to experience certain great races through out this series and help keep the grids packed. Guys can pretty much spot race certain races they like. Extra drivers here & there will keep the points chase at a chase throughout the whole season hopefully. 👍

Op Update Notice:
-There are some changes and tweaks that are pass due on our op so tomorrow night after I clock Monaco for the proper race distance I'm going to hammer out these changes to the rules, car/drivers, and such. I have the replays so I can correct car and driver, and most importantly I will add Race Results with Overall Points. I'll also see about adding a Team Championship spreadsheets that will include the 2 passed rounds data as well. Thanks to everyone joining with us this is how racing should be on the planet!

Like I always say "I will not abandon series, you can count on me!" 👍

Well that race was a roller coaster ride for me... Turn 1 was great as I got past Seth but then into turn 2/3 he was hit from the rear and had no where to go but my back bumper so the sand became me new friend. After that a march up the field until Joe's Viper was just too fast in a straight line and I was stuck in 10th for a long time. I think I nailed my 3 stop strategy as I gained so many places on those trying to do 2 stops or long stints as my tyres always felt fresh enough to carry on. P3, I'm happy with that on the night of my birthday!

Have to give a huge shout out to FlyinHawaiian77 for the fight we had from lap 20-21, 38-42 it was clean and close all the way through , good to see how clean GT racing happens, that fight!!! well done mate

My rhythm was broken at the end of the first race, had that race continued I was in a good position and feel quite strong physically, Then after the flustering I had rushing around between starts, topping up my drink etc, I lost it, then my non drowsy weak as 🤬 pain meds wore off around lap 27, pushed through that to my second stop, then took the strong ones, they kicked in around lap 54, hence me just driving in odd directions, I fell asleep several times, so apoligies to any races I may have ruined,

No good Dave, are you okay?

Yeah mate I'm fine, I was in a heavy truck accident on ANZAC day, still getting over it,

I was leaving Callington heading to Murray Bridge on the freeway, going down the freeway entrance ramp I ran over a stray truck tire and wheel assembly, launched across the grass and across both lanes of freeway then back across both lanes to arrest the truck 400m down the road,

The people who seen it said that they could have walked under my truck without it touching their heads with how much air I took, I don't remember any of it, but the damage the truck took on the inside suggests I hit my head several times, and actually bent the safety shell that the truck cab is designed on,

@Storm, 2 weeks away for the next event at Monaco,

Monaco is a tough track to race on if you don't have experience here. I suggest getting a few friends on here and doing practice races with them. There are certain places you can make a pass work. But then you can get it wrong too. Pit stops will be a good way to get track position as will qualifying.

I will say this that we need to crack down on contact as it there was tpo much in first start
and Secondly give me a break about my connection in our country ISP's can slow down your connection for peer to peer and secondly we are Bound to have lag im in middle and my information has to travel to two sides of the world and back again. I think too Many people forget that many still don't have high speed internet.
so i have two suggestions
firstly give me a break on my connection as it did not cause all the incidents and i know for a fact that that certain drivers have problems with lag with other uk guys
clear your cache and nicely say "willfred you have some lag"
not" I can't get close Because willfred caused me to crash" as i gained 5 places by the end of the first lap and did not have any issues with many of the drivers
Sorry but i feel i need to get this rant of my chest as it put me in a bad mood from the start and if this attitude continues i will quit

Wow. That's really bad ): I must of heard I another one. That one sounds worse! Some people, honestly. How can there me stuff like that laying around on a freeway?. That god for those arrester beds.

You must have hit it pretty hard! :scared:
Well I hope you have a speedy recovery man. I'm sorry to hear your in so much discomfort, I could imagine its horrible.
Are you just battered and bruised? You didn't break anything?

I have to reconfirm but we are looking at around 60 to 63 Laps duration around here to hit the 1.5hr minimum target. We will have to take fuel but just barely 20 liters over the top for most cars to make it the end I assume.

I hit it just under 100kph, no arrester bed or any luxuries like that, Just good old fassion driving skills to get me out of it,

My understanding of practice laps is that these laps will be longer in time then laguna Joe, so I don't know how that will balance out to time,

There is always a spot EFJ,

Well at least your okay, it could have been a lot worse, so thankfully nothing worse happened. Hope you have a speedy recovery, and start winning races again!

News Update:
Ok fellas so the next round at Monaco will be a race distance of 62 Laps including pace lap. This puts us right at the same driving time as the Mazda Raceway Rd; maybe 1 min or 2 min over at the most. Op is updated with points but not race results. It pains me to say that since I didn't finish the whole race there were 5 disconnects or quits that I cant put laps too, so I need the whole replay or for someone to tell me at what laps did skengD, FlyinHawaiian, Chozza, and Willfred dropped from the race to properly post race results or updated their points. After finding this out and also regretting some 2 days later that I parked my car in the pits, looking at the finishing order & points fight I will never not complete a race again for this series in the future. On my distance test I posted a PB of 1'31'826, so I'm guessing a fast lap is 1'30's for a 1st target time. I do believe poll will be in the 20's range for this round at Monaco. See you guys on track! 👍

I've seen 29s already from some people... I think I can get down there if I can sort the snap around on the back of my car...

I got to say I'm loving this series, Hope to have my rig completed before this weekend, for WEC, But I really want to maintain my lead here,
