Good job. ;)

Now you are dsq'd from all points for driving backwards at Tsukuba qualifying and ruining my lap.

haha, that was kind of a brainfreeze moment, but it's what happens when you let me get bored

And then today you spoke during quali and I went off reading it.....................................................

Yeah, sorry about that, not usually that late :scared:

But I think I of all people can say that starting position did not matter for that race ;)

So annoyed I went off twice in quick succession. I reckon we'd have had a good battle in the closing laps. 👍

Yep, if you stayed consistent you would have had a good chance of keeping me out too. Unfortunately my guesswork setup (without running any laps on the track :scared:) worked pretty well, and I'm in form this weekend, wasn't going to make mistakes so easily once I was in full flow.

You were pushing me hard and the pressure just got to me. :ouch: And then my tyres were shot from pushing too hard, so I was just understeering wide. I'd have probably been more consistent if I'd practised properly before today. :indiff:

The Merc does have some ingrained understeer that I just can't tune out. *Sigh*

But my god is the Viper quick on exit.

Yeah, it is pretty quick, but in order to have good cornering speed, you need to give it some oversteer, but then the car ends up being pretty unstable :indiff: Lots of throttle control needed, but it's worth it when you get it right.

It did pull away on acceleration, but I did see you sliding around in my mirror a bit. ;)

Merc's understeer on worn tyres is what killed it for me. :(

Great race nevertheless. 👍

Put me in a PURE series and I'm usually the mid-pack wonder, don't really see the front much.

Yeah, I know this sounds ridiculous but Biffy is "only" Div. 2 Gold in WRS- many who run in pure are Div. 1 and some even Div. 1 Gold.

We're just slow in DCRL. :P

Fastest Laps:
Biffy: 4'13.3xx  (No draft as well :embarrassed:)
Me: 4'14.6xx (No draft)
Dax: 4'15.0xx (Not sure ;))

Rest were about 4'15 too. 👍
Not true! My best lap was a 4:18.0 :P not even close to pace today.. La Sarthe is one of those tracks i really have to practise at if i'm going to be any good.. mostly because i never drive there and have no previous track knowledge.. if it ever gets in to one of the series i'm actually in then i will probably have to learn it for real ^^

Congrats to Biffy, good job, those slow DCRL regulars didn't stand a chance ;)

Hey! I was only 1.3 seconds off.

And Apart from that lap Biffy was either only marginally faster/about similar. :D

Apart from when I went off of course. :embarrassed:

Don't really think so... one can't be slow while winning over Carracer by multiple seconds in a loose Elise with no ABS? ^^

;)

I was being sarcastic.

What I meant to say is, we can be fast when we want to be. :sly:

Sorry for not making the race, but sure I said I was a maybe anyway.

It's cause I went out drinking with pals instead and just so you know I'm drunk now.. :)

Anyway I've gone far enough off topic now so I'll let you get back 👍

your 16 and your out drinking?! saying that, im not exactly the king of socialising so i don't go out drinking much, i'd rather stay home, have biscuit barrel to the right, can of coke to the left, and a DS3 and GT5 infront of me :P.

ah, i would love to have one of those instead but i spend my money on football. i get a tenner a week, and it goes to food and 6 a-side a week. one day i shall have a wheel (evil leader laugh) muhahahahaha.

I'm somewhat drunk and even I can tell that is either a Suzuki Swift or a Ford Fiesta/Focus.

It is a Volvo C30 I found this in a site/thread on Volvo C30s . (Fyi note the volvo sticker on the rear window :P.)

I meant in the whole series of course ;) in some races you are more then enough to compete with him. :)

And yes matty that is a Volvo c30, everyone can see it from those rear lights. :)
