Not that I've heard

Some teacher once said that Finns joke about Swedes who joke about Norwegians who joke about Finns ^^

Hahaha, well we're joking more about the swedes than the finns. Mainly because there are a lot more swedes living in Norway :)

Swedes must be annoyed when they live between two countries who occasionally laugh at them, and both defeated them in the last world championship. :D

What world championship are we talking about? Skiing?:sly:

I don't watch ice hockey unfortunately, as I rather prefer skiing, biathlon etc.
You've got some good skiers as well :)

Carbonox
Ice hockey! :gtpflag:

(The precious sport that Britons don't understand)

But ironically this Irishman does :dopey:

Carbonox
Luke does as well apparently, so you seem to be different, but where's your national team? :mischievous:

In Ireland

Yay a Norwegian guy! soon we'll have all Scandinavians assembled :)

Edit: if this was the lotus champs and we had three drivers per team there he could have been in our scandinavian team with blue main color and red rims :D (ok i admit it would be pretty Icelandic but it's close enough.. )

Thanks for the welcome guys! I'm going to drive for Banana Team :)

Just did a 1'56.726 in Damon-Hill's lounge and a 1'56.4xx in draft, but I reckon I could get a bit more out. 👍

EDIT: 1000 posts- congrats. :)

Mmmm i reckon that 1.56 is a good time, but 1.55.8 or 9 would be an excellent one

Lol yesterday i've done such a bad little race but i was trolled by my nephew while i was racing with you XD, hopefully on Sunday no one will bother me : D

And a weak penality would be good, too many cutting chicanes chances in my opinion

I prefer no penalties and just trust that people don't cut. If they are seen to cut that get disqualified. As if you lose control into the second corner and use the run-off to make the turn (not gaining anything) it still gives a penalty, or if someone nudges you into it, or if you're 3 wide and have nowhere else to go.

Obviously if you cut and gain just let whoever you passed back through. :)

A vote against penalties from here as well. I bet I have said this numerous times already, but the game totally fails in judging incidents. After all, its solutions are rather black and white. With post-race views from different drivers, we can sort out much more correct penalties.

1:58.4 :embarrassed:

EDIT: I vote no penalties as we'll all end up watching the replay anyway and DAX can dish out penalties as he sees fit. I say no more than 2 wheels on the green borders.

Official Penalties & Warnings for last Sunday:

Public warnings:

Sumo098, DaveMay, DK, A_Higher_Place and lvoldemort666 for cutting across the white line out of the pits.

lvoldemort666 for making more than 1 move on a straight (weaving to break slipstream)

If this was not the 1st race of the season, each of those would earn the offender a 5 second penalty. I am being lenient as it is the 1st race of the season but you should all know the rules by now, especiall the guys from S1.

Fixed,

And I hope you all take it seriously because if it happens again I will give out penalties.

I have seen too many crashes because of weaving and coming out of the pits like that. I recommend reading the rules again if you are one of the offenders.

This will be really apparent at Monza tomorrow, due to the long straights and chicanes. :scared:

EDIT: I think you answered you're own statement Carb.

Qualifying is different, I cannot monitor qualifying using replays.

But I never understood what the big deal was about chicane cutting. To me it looked like the chicane is impossible to cut without losing time.

The fact of the matter is it's against the rules, and it is possible to gain time doing it.

We are off topic now.
