Since we just did Indy Road so we're fimiliar with the track, and plus the fact its leading in the polls, I say we arrange a pre spot race event this Sunday 3pm Pst. I'm burning to give these cars ago also. And at Indy we can get a good top mph/draft number going into turn 1. This place has a good balance of top speed and infield section imo' 👍

Ill update the op title to see if we can snag a couple more registrants!
 
I agree, but can't we do it during the week. I'm beat after seth's 90's series on Sunday's. Monday's race was way too long for me.
Don't you guy's that have wifes or girlfriends, get dirty looks for spending all weekend racing? I know I do.

I got the same setup with my girl as seth. When I'm gt5 I'm gt5 end of story! I would love to race weekdays, but spring/fall is school so I'm screwed weekdays now.

I'll be there. She says she loves me weather I'm playing GT5 or not. It keeps me out of the bars and from waisting money lol. 👍
 
Seriously, that's a good reason! So Sunday after 90's FIA it is then! If you guys are on later, I'll have a room opened up. And I'll be running these cars at one of my created tracks. I think you'll like it- I know I do. So please, if you see me online- join in.
 
I could be in for racing this. Mark me down for the RX-7 at the moment. I will be an alternate for now until I am for sure able to make these events. 👍
 
Yeah, it was a useful test session! The track we ran was one of my created tracks. Me and franko were .013 seconds apart in two different cars. He was using the Camaro LM, and I was using the Nissan Fairlady LM. We were evenly matched in just about every sector. I used the Audi R8 LMS and was only a tenth behind. Switched to the Panoz Esperante and went about 2 tenths quicker. So 1:31.7's and 1:31.5's then Llyd joined with his GTR LM and went 1:31.3 and I matched that with the Zonda LM. I switched back to the GTR myself and did 1:31.4, back to the Panoz and then did 1:31.2's. After that, I tried out the NSX LM and got 1:30.9! Seems like all the cars are pretty close together, I know I could go faster in the R8 and Nissan. Definitely very close together.
 
I may switch to one of the premium cars if possible, unsure which one, Ill have to try them out at the test.

I might get some GT5 time in tonight so after I get my GATE qualifier done ill swing by! 👍

Yea I'm heading home now, I should be getting there right at 3pm Pst. I'm sure if I'm late Seth will have a room open for the pre race. Indy Road is winning so we'll race that track since it looks like that will be our 1st round' 👍

These cars should be easy to handle on softs and I expect the racing to be side by side action like GT300 racing since we are under the 500hp mark. See you guys there!

Fellas target time 1'28's fast lap and 1'31's at slow lap. Any slower and you should get more setup time in!

Plenty of room mate, Joe is far more reliable then I am and they are the same spec GT car's, so any testing you did for my series wont be lost,

Btw Dave I heard you and TnT came into my my room a couple of days ago. I had left my Ps3 on and the automatic power off kicked in so that's why I all of a sudden disappeared. I would never be so rude to just disconnect like that, I consider you guys close racing buddies of mine that I will always give my respect too! :sly:👍

Also I heard you guys are running 1'30's which is about what I'm hitting without the draft. I feel with tuning I'll hit 1'29's by myself, but I might switch back to the Citroen pending more testing. But then again I might not because you guys are running the #91 Viper and I would like to team up with you guys! If this was a straight 300km race then I would go Citroen all the way for certain reasons.
