New thread for Fifa 14?

Right Lads. Serious Business. After A discussion with Paul (R35) today about the team we have come to some points.

1) We have allocated the following:
Paul (R35) - Manager
Ellis - Captain
Pagey777 (Sam) - Vice Captain

Senior players are people with over 150 games.

People who are new to the club are assessed briefly be myself and Paul and possibly Pagey after 15 games to review their performance in the club and their position.

IMPORTANT RULES
Games are not to be started past the time of 12:20am on the Following evenings. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. While its a pain staying up that late, after this time peoples performances drop significantly and we end up losing games. While this may seem a bit harsh and constricting. if you think about it, it stops people who need to be up at an early time from staying up to late.

This is a big rule everyone needs to listen to.
There is no doubt that sometimes, taking the mickey out of someone for a bit of banter or having a quick jab at them happens and for the most part it can be funny. But sometimes jokes can get a bit out of context. Im as guilty as anyone trust me! So we have proposed a new rule which will stop this from happening too much in the future we have a new setup for these incidents.

Say someone says something thats bad. Me or Paul or Pagey or even sureshot can give a verbal warning expressing that its out of context. Then if it happens again in the same night, a serious warning about it. Then if it continues, that player can be not allowed to play in the club for 2 Full days. And to avoid hypocrisy I am involved in this too. If anyone knows of anything out of order, report it to me or Paul with details of it.

Hate to say it but this sounds like power and influence to a few and sod the rest to me. I rarely play with the team anymore but I cant help but feel a bit sorry for others that maybe do play regularly.

First of all, one decisions rest with me anyway but its not like we are disregarding anyones opinion, I only had this discussion with ellis because of the points he has raised I have also noticed from watching the team but if anything the measures we are introducing are for the good of the club anyway
 
And its not like we are not taking peoples opinion. We always open to suggestions as try and amend issues with people. For example today alone me and Paul have been made aware of an issue by other team members about a small issue. Now we can look into it, thus improving the team dynamic.

You think I'm out of order for expressing opinion against the "chosen few"? With attitudes like that I guess this is why you have all been pushed over like this. I mean am I the only one who thinks its wrong for 2 individuals out of all of us to converse away from everyone else and come up with ideas and solutions between them? Isn't that what this thread should be for? A place for opinions to be expressed and discussion to take place?

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with R35 and Ellis being (for want of a better word, "bosses?". They are 2 of the best and popular players in the group, and R35 is founder ofcourse. It just seems weird for the majority of the team not to have a chance to discuss or express opinion.
 
Hold up think ya might be getting a little over sensitive weve all had a chat in the lobby and everythings rosey:tup: Perhaps its not coming across quite right on here but im glad things were aired.:)

No but that is where you are wrong. People do have a say and it is for these reasons decisions need to be made. At the end of the say, this clubs has 24 people in it with at least 12 regulars over a week. Issues are a certainty and people need to understand decisions need to be made in order for the club to run smoothly. This is not a case of what we think goes, it is in the interest of the club. If people disagree with what I have said, please, feel free to say what you think is best :)
 
OK fair enough, Sorry if any offence was caused R35, Ellis. Only reason I said anything was because I want to start joining up with you guys again a bit more. Hope I wasn't out of order ;) As I was a CAM before and we have a lot of midfielders at the moment, Considering I'm a bit down the pecking order I would be pleased to offer to go back into a defensive position? What do you think guys?

Although that is a great compliment, I think there are better attackers than myself in the squad, Plus I'm rather out of practice at the moment. So for the good of the team Ill go into defence for now. I will be more than happy to take up the odd vacant midfield spot when needed though. ;)
 
the game froze for me so had to restart the game then tried to get on the servers for around 5 mins but couldn't so gave up.

there was some good football played while i was there but were very unlucky on various occasions where things went against us

also i'm not going to get involved with any club politics

You have only been in the club a short time you won't really be asked to be with little fickly business unless it involves you :)

And it is worth noting this is a rare thing. Its only an if and when situation and every now and again asking people if there is anything that needs doing. Not a case of every week do this do that :lol:

Small suggestion, if people want to play beyond that time they can do so if it's a friendly. (we never play these)

Do they still count towards accomplishments?

Completely agree with all that has been said. We've had a good last week or so, let's not throw it away!

Makes sense:tup: Extra team bonding and understanding can only be good.:) No idea on the accomplishments side of things.:dunce:

Winning 4 from the last 5, on course for promotion. 4 points from next 5 games. The keeper was a bit **** in the one we lost. 4 long range goals, all saveable.
 
it looks like it massively improved after i left so it looks like i'm a bad charm.

my pro currently has around 75 achievements and i'm hoping to get a few more before i next play with the club as i'm busy for the next 2 nights

We're in division 6 and are safe from relegation on 12 points. 16 for promotion and 19 for the title. We've won 4 and lost 1 so far, and we still have 5 games left.

My pro is now an 87 CAM and well on his way to 88. He's also had his hair cut and had plastic surgery.
