Fear not Fenton in goal is on a whole new level of awfulness!! His record though strangely 2 games 5 conceded and err 2 wins!!!! I'll leave you to work that one out.

Think I did OK as the Any when we tried that. In one of the games with Ayron in goal and me as Any, he was only needed twice. One was a simple catch and the other was when I missed a tackle and conceded a penalty. Other good news is that he doesn't want to be in goal again after the second game he was in goal.

Not sure what's happened to Vlad though. If I'm Any again I'll change him. My next EAS FC level will get Vlad a shooting stats boost, which will hopefully make him better.


I should be along after racing Minis in GT5 tonight. It's meant to finish around 9 - 9:15

Joe, I think the first few games as striker are hard. That is why I suggested being a Creator, you can be more of a playmaker and get some goals whilst providing balls to other front players. It's only after you've unlocked some of the finishing and other accomplishments that it gets easier.

I felt you were dropping back too much last night, it's good to be selfish when you're an ST in terms of where you are on the pitch when they have the ball.

Not sure if I'm tonight, possibly snookering.

Thats a good point sureshot, but i remember being a ST a run of 20 games where we tried a 4-3-3, and apart from crosses coming in from the wing, i was getting virtually no chances wheras i was left having to drop back and either create my own chances or create other people chances which was rather frustrating

NOTE TO ALL If you ever plan on going in goals, go to Customise fifa > Settings > Controls > Wireless Controller Settings > Save Assistance - ASSISTED THIS IS CRUCIAL!!! You may have noticed me and ellis having a bit of a performance drop as keeper, im 95% sure this is why, and for those trying out as keeper this is imperative. It is manually set to MANUAL which means if you dont dive at the right time in the right direction from the right position, you wont save it, whereas assisted is much easier.

Quite a fun night tonight, we started off with winning another piece of silverware, I think it was the continental cup.
But after that it went a bit pete tong for some of us, we won games and scored some goals but we didn't make life easy for ourselves . But we will be safe, I'm pretty sure anyway. I think we only need 2 points from a possible 9.

Using the Any again?

Tried to do some drop-in games at lunch, made one save and got substituted. Four other games crashed on loading, total mess of a game. I did get +1 handling for that save though.

Yeah I think Paul started off as any, but when Joe came he took over.

It was quite funny, he would make a mistake, mostly because of silly AI passing and control, giving them the ball in a really bad place. But he would make up for it straight away with an incredible tackle or block

Barring the silly AI nonsense Joes actually a damn good any, a couple of games last night the defense was impenetrable.
