The place that we will be in looks fairly large and looks like it is normally open to the public. I'm wondering if they only have a portion of it set aside for us and maybe the rest would still be open to the public? Either way my other half won't be coming as she hates when I play that 🤬 "game"

I wouldn't think they would have a problem with that, but you would have to pay for the flight, etc.

Got my call from the travel lady at 7:30 this morning. My flight gets in at around 4:30pm on Monday. I also got a really late return flight which is nice so I can spend most of Thursday doing some last minute sight seeing.

At the bottom of your itinerary there is a list of three people who are in charge of our trip. One of those numbers might be what you need.

You race at F1 Boston?
I'm going to be doing some karting at F1 Outdoors this summer for the rotax juniors!
I usually go to GPNY in New York for indoor karting.
It's a pretty nice facility at both places.

No guest will be allowed access to the GTA competition or reception. You have a full schedule of events to participate during the trip, until you are eliminated or advance you will be required to remain at the competition venue.

That does suck. Well then, it's up to you guys to open up some threads and try to recall and recount what happened during the competition till we can watch it on TV (which will be a while afterward).

It would be awesome to at least how the competition went down. Thoughts, regrets, accomplishents, surprises - all that.

It would be nice if even just one of you guys could keep us posted with what happens. Any of you have Twitter accounts?

This is F'in unbelievable...

Unfortunately I lost my wallet (for the first time in my life) over last weekend and now I have no legitimate photo ID in order to get the affidavit notarized and faxed in. My wallet was found and turned into the police last Saturday and they gave me a call telling me that I could come by the station on Monday to pick it up. So I go by on Monday to try and pick it up, and they tell me the lady who takes care of property is now on a special assignment and won't be there until Friday (today)...of course

I gave the station a call once again today to try and get a hold of her and they ended up giving me the same damn story (oh sorry, she won't be here until Monday now). Throughout the week I have constantly tried calling this useless pos (that my tax dollars go to), as well leaving her several voicesmails explaining my urgent situation and still have yet to hear one thing back from her. I ended up giving the Sargent a call today and he to wasn't around so I left him a message which I'm hoping he responds to asap.

Fortunately, Rachel from the prize agency was kind enough to give me an extension until Monday to get all of my stuff faxed in, but at this point I'm feeling pretty helpless and unsure as to when I will be able to get it back (thanks to these douchebag cops).

It's just great how something so ridiculous might squash this once in a life time opportunity. If I don't get my wallet by Monday I don't know how much sanity I will have left This is like a cruel joke or bad dream at this point, which has been going on for the past couple of days.
