Yeah, that's cool. I got the Spoon too, eventually.. I didn't like it as much as the regular S2000, though.

My first car was an old Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 '85. At first it was pretty hard to use it, but then I could easily defeat anyone in Tahiti road, even Daniel's Toyota Celica GT-FOUR RC(Daniel was an ex school partner),fully tuned with almost 450hp(My 86 had 264 hp).

That's good 👍.

My very first run, i got the nissan pulsar...then after that the used supra turbo

i played GT2 from the start a few times, so these are the best "first cars" for me:

Nissan Pulsar GTi-R
RX-7 Infini (a very good car)
Prelude VTEC '91
Supra Twinturbo R

Let's see if anyone remembers the first car they bought....
Do you still have it

-I bought the RX7 Infini III '90
still have it and use it occasionally to WIN, yes i said WIN, races

has a sweet race mod. paint job
-red and green splattered paint on a white background with a spoiler

Me too! its an awesome car!

I obtained a used toyota Celica GT-FOUR RC. Despite being more expensive, it was worth the extra power and four-wheel-drive. The racing modification and rally tires were a good deal as well.

Well, I just started playing GT2 on my PSP, after playing GT3 and GT4 since they came out, so yesterday I bought an S13 Silvia K's in black. S1 weight reduction and a racing flywheel got me enough to buy sports tires, which gave me a good car to start earning cash with. It's pretty set for now, and I'm about to buy an Evo 6 (haven't decided whether to get the RS or the GSR, I love AYC...). Oh man, this game is great.

Yeah it is great. I'm about to get a PSP myself, since D&D Tactics just got released. I had no idea GT2 is on PSP....thank god they didn't have this sort of technology when I was a kid! :embarrassed: I woulda never got any schoolwork done.

I never do. This is a worrying factor for the interactive toy industry (the ones with no screens, but don't tell them that), saying that 'playtime' (or leisure time) is becoming more of a distraction than an active experience. Thank heavens for GT2, then!

Since I just started playing GT2, it's not difficult at all for me to remember. It's still the vehicle I use primarily, a Supra Turbo '93. I've thrown more cash into it than it cost me to buy initially.

i reckon just buying a supra or an rx7 straight away makes it too easy....i started my last saved game with a mirage cyborg, and my current one with a '89 mazda 323 sedan [which now has 370 horepower].

I've got pretty much most of the cars that I bought right at the start. I bought a blue Micra Super Turbo and I still drive it regularly. The next one I bought was a beetle and than a challenger.

I like the way you can edit the order your cars appear in the list and keep it that way. I have all my hatchbacks, convertible, rally, race, classics cars etc grouped together for ease of finding them, however, the three cars I first bought are at the top of the list together, I'd feel bad about separating them!

Yep, hence the name.

The garage can be organized but manually, or at least you can on my Pal version. It's better imo than just having the system like in GT4 where the game organizes the cars by acquired date, power to weight etc.

I do it like this;

When you are in 'home' go to your garage like normal and highlight a vehicle then press start, you will see it cycles the cars including the car you have highlighted in the garage one by one, keep pressing start and you will eventually end up with the car you started with again. It's like a rolling list.

Say you want all your hatchbacks together, start above the car you want to keep where it is (ie Micra Super turbo) and keep pressing start until you get the car you want above (ie clio 16v) once you've got the clio above the micra then highlight the car above the clio and keep pressing start until the car you want is above that (ie punto) and so on..

Yes, this is one of GT2's few "tricks" ...organizing your garage car by car by using the Start button.

Same here! Its actually an ok rally car too.

I bought the Skyline GTS-4 on my first time around, not really worth the xtra cash it costs
Bought a 90 Supra Turbo in White second time around, best start car around.
3rd time i bought a Toyota Mark 2, hey its a fun car to drive :)

For me it's Prelude VTEC first time round, just like what I did in GT1. Then for my second game I had a Trueno. For the third game I used a FC RX-7. Sold all of them, sadly (if you ask why, it's because I need some cash for the annoying manufacturer's races). But I tuned all of them to the max before I sold them, and did all races possible with them, so I had gotten the best out of each before parting :).
