Mazda rx7 mid 80s version. Collected enough money to buy a Evo 4, and the drove that Lancer event untill i had enough to buy a GT 40.

After i had a problem with my memory card, i started again, bought a prelude, didn't upgrade it, and quickly moved on to better. :P

I have tried something a little different - the '90 Nissan Primera GT. (costs 3,888Cr) Mine was in dark blue with Falken alloys, a real beauty to look at, and boy does it go! It slides a little and it only goes to 292hp max, but this is one really good ca that nobody has tried yet - it also has race pedigree, been in British touring car races since 1991.

Also try that underrated econobx, the '89 Mazda 323 Sedan..370hp max, can be lightend (w/racemod) to 895 kilos...is much better that it looks, and is a better, cheaper bet than the GTX, as you can actually get more power out of the standard FF Sedan than the 4WD GT-X. the GTX is also 200 kilos heavier.

The Prelude brought me tons of money by blasting 591bhp cars like Vettes and Vipers on midfield. I did keep it but then went for a more recent model, the 2.2 VTI with red race mod....followed by the 98 type S, even faster (ugly race mod)!

My first car was the RX-7 Infini 3. I did the sunday cup, bought a turbo upgrade and took it to the Trial Mountain 30 lap endurance race.
after that i had $150,000 and a Denso Supra GT

I know, they will slaughter allcomers. I think they should ahve put the Preludes built in the 1980's into the game as well

Absolutely right, that's why I'm looking for a Type S to replace my car.

The last time I started, I started with a red FC RX-7 Infini III. God, i still love that car, one of my two personal favorites for the 391hp Taihiti Road race.. the Evo III owns, too!

My girlfriend started with a 94 Prelude. I tried to get her to get a CRX, but she's so stubborn. :P

The very first car I bought in GT2 was the '82 Toyota Starlet & kept on trying to keep up with the AI cars in the manufacturers tournament (& failing miserably), after getting bored of getting 200 credits or so per failed race I started again.....

I then bought a '91? Toyota Celica GT-4 I think it was in red :) Upgraded it to around 400BHP by the end & won loadsa races in it.
