@Jordan @Famine or anyone else there. Can you please ask PD if they have seen this? https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/daily-races-are-now-weekly-races-poll.380438/

Why do they keep giving us repetitive weekly races? Why don’t we ever see some tracks or new combinations anymore? It honestly feels like they’re trolling us when we see the exact same Fiat 500 F weekly one make at Lago Maggiore Center (4 times?)..

Do PD care about the REAL FANS enjoyment of the game? There’s clearly something wrong. It’s not a specific request, we hate these weekly races, and it’s ruining our enjoyment of the game. Are PD prioritising casual gamers interests over ours?

Also, what happened to the community manager?

Thank you.

I’m going to give the live stream a go, hopefully the WiFi doesn’t crap out when the event actually begins.

The presentation was scheduled to start a few minutes ago so we could be going live any moment now.

It will be on our Facebook page here:

I don't know if people there are aware that tomorrow access to the venue could be trickier than today, since it will be Saturday*, usual day of Yellow Vest demonstrations, hence this institutional area is likely to be locked down again (no cars allowed, some subway station closed). It's better to know it beforehand, unless a hotel-venue group transport is organized for you ;)

*: the number of people demonstrating is fading over the 18 weeks since it started, but this date is supposed to be special for them, so it's hard to know how things will turn.

So, world tours 3, 4 and 5 are regional finals, I presume?
Yes, it would appear that way. It wasn't explicitly discussed in the presentation so we are hoping to get more clarification on that. Most likely, there won't be specific "regional finals" this year — various competitors will qualify at each event for Worlds, including this one in Paris.

Ah, good to know, we were wondering about the yellow vests. We are actually staying very close nearby, so everyone just walks.

I'm very curious about the Manufacturers scheme for 2019, I saw a quick frame on the gtplanet livestream but the quality isnt good enough to see what it's written.

In case of emergency, the back of the British embassy is just in front of the Pavillon Gabriel, and the US embassy almost as close, between it and the FIA building. :D

Why is this becoming a feature request thread? Im coming here for discussion about the event and Im just seeing everyone's personal wishlist...

You didn’t know this is the Paris bitchfest? Nothing else is happening. Kaz travels all this way to continue to not listen to the myriad requests in a live environment!

@Jordan since this has become a request page. Can you say hi to Translator San. He's much cooler than Kaz. Don't tell him said that please?

Anyway lads, the new X2014 Competition car is a thing, and the National liveries it has have been revamped, looking good 👍

Good, now kill the version we have in the game atm, it's absolutely horrendous to drive. The lan version is so much better.

I like that the Manufacturer Series is a proper series of races this time rather than a "Winner Take All" affair on the Nurburgring, but I do wish they would use it to give more opportunity for other drivers to participate rather than let the Nations guys pull double duty. And yes, having the three best drivers from each region all on one team (Nissan) feels like stacking the deck, big time.

That said, still looking forward to checking this out. Between WEC today, IMSA tomorrow, and GT Sport the rest of the weekend; feels like a Thanksgiving feast for a racing fan.
