What's the main difference between the Standard and Competition variants, asides from the Nations Cup liveries?

I don't know how similar it is to the BOP'd car from last year's regionals, but that thing was... well, it wasn't my favourite GT steer ever.

Feels weird not being there after attending the last two events. Looks like everyone's having a good time though — Paris is a beaut! 👍

Interesting to read that the regions will once again be split.
It's great to hear that they are spending money and adding infrastucture to setup additional servers more locally to hopefully enhance players online experiences.

I don't know the numbers, but I assume the FIA events have a reasonably strong player participation when compared to the regular daily races.
And as long as the server split is only related to the FIA events, then I guess it's a good thing.

I sincerely hope that this is as far as it goes though.
Oceania simply doesn't have the player base to allow for consistent lobbies in Daily races without including the Asia region as a whole.

Nothing's changing, Daily Races for the Americas and Asia + Oceania were reintroduced a little while back due to the lack of players in them, but the FIA races gather enough people to continue to split, so that's what the case has been for all of us outside of Europe. I don't expect them to change much more on that end.

Oh, I see.

I'm a little confused then after reading this ...
"The biggest single change to proceedings is that Polyphony Digital has once again split the regions up. Rather than the three regions of 2018, the new event will see competitors in five regions qualifying for the finals events."

This is just to compare between last year's series where it was 3 regions instead of 5 (as it has currently been in the offseason). This has nothing to do with the Daily Races.

This is the first I've checked this thread for a few days, absolutely delighted with a rally race. It's going to be a disaster.

Are there certain things you’re not allowed to ask in the interview? Like questions about daily races? Why is it that in all of the interviews with Kaz, that no one has asked a single question about the repeat dailies all the time? It’s one small question that a lot of people would like an answer to, why will no one ask it?
