X2019 then!
What's the main difference between the Standard and Competition variants, asides from the Nations Cup liveries?
Quite a crowd is gathering here at the venue, all of the media has arrived and the competitors are prepping for the rally repechage race.

I second this.Really hope for a question or wish list regarding Arcade mode. If it is possible for an update (for example multi class) and for better AI, more competitive one .
Even though the Brooklyn Formula E race takes place in July, was thinking it may debut at the NY event.
Paddle shifting only. There is no shifters? Do you guys only use race cars all weekend?
Paddle shifting only.
Yep, they have never offered separate shifters at any event. Thanks for the info. I didn’t know that, have they always been that way?
Yep, they have never offered separate shifters at any event.
I was disconnected yesterday, I hope that didn't effect your race?Cool, thanks again for the info.
Why is this becoming a feature request thread? Im coming here for discussion about the event and Im just seeing everyone's personal wishlist...
I was disconnected yesterday, I hope that didn't effect your race?
Did I miss the race today?
Interesting to read that the regions will once again be split.
It's great to hear that they are spending money and adding infrastucture to setup additional servers more locally to hopefully enhance players online experiences.
I don't know the numbers, but I assume the FIA events have a reasonably strong player participation when compared to the regular daily races.
And as long as the server split is only related to the FIA events, then I guess it's a good thing.
I sincerely hope that this is as far as it goes though.
Oceania simply doesn't have the player base to allow for consistent lobbies in Daily races without including the Asia region as a whole.
Oh, I see.Nothing's changing, Daily Races for the Americas and Asia + Oceania were reintroduced a little while back due to the lack of players in them, but the FIA races gather enough people to continue to split, so that's what the case has been for all of us outside of Europe. I don't expect them to change much more on that end.
Oh, I see.
I'm a little confused then after reading this ...
"The biggest single change to proceedings is that Polyphony Digital has once again split the regions up. Rather than the three regions of 2018, the new event will see competitors in five regions qualifying for the finals events."
https://www.gtplanet.net/gran-turismo-sport-2019-plans/
Okay. This is just to compare between last year's series where it was 3 regions instead of 5 (as it has currently been in the offseason). This has nothing to do with the Daily Races.
Apparently there are new cars coming into the game, other than the SF 19:
Maybe the X2014 Competition? Or maybe something else?
Look like you guy don't have enough sleep. We just wrapped up a visit to the FIA HQ here in Paris — they are definitely interested in virtual Motorsport, the future is bright!
